A/N
I'll start with the longer one before I loose inspiration. Most aspects of this will be a bit made up since only ONE book has these two, but it's enough info to begin with..

Cricket PoV
Cricket was nibbling on a fish she had caught.
Luna and Swordtail were blown away by the storm, Sundew was captured by the HiveWings, and Blue was in a cocoon.
Blue would be coming out today, and with wings!
I wonder if he will know how to fly already? Will it be hardwired in his brain? Luna seemed to already know how to fly, but that could have been prior training.
Cricket looked up at the warm, lava-like glow emitting from Blue's flamesilk cocoon.
The cocoon shook, disturbing the earlier undisturbed glow.
He's coming out! Cricket thought excitedly.
The cocoon shook again, more violently this time. Then a pair of claws stabbed through the shell of the cocoon.
They moved down, ripping apart the silk. Another claw ripped through and widened the first rip.
As the cocoon was demolished, Blue emerged from the cocoon. And Blue now has wings. Two sets of blue wings were stationed on Blue'a back.
Blue looked around, then to his back. He spread his wings out like they were a mystery that needed to be solved.
"Hi!" Cricket said.
Blue jumped. "Oh, hi. This cave is smaller than I remembered."
"Yeah, I kinda had to roll your cocoon deeper into the cave to avoid being spotted," Cricket explained.
"Are Luna and Swordtail alright?"
"They haven't returned yet," Cricket said sadly.
Blue looked towards the exit of the cave, concerned.
"What about Sundew?"
"Captured by the HiveWings."
"I wonder what Queen Wasp will do to her," Blue said. "Wait! What about the Book of Clearsight?"
"Sundew had her pouches in here, so we still have it," Cricket said.
Blue walked away from his cocoon's remnants, towards the small pile of items.
"Did Sundew leave any fruit in her pouches?" Blue asked, hungry from his five day fast.
Cricket stepped up next to him and pulled the pouch of fruit from the pile. As she did so, her wing slightly brushed Blue's.
Cricket hid her blush, pretending to look for something else.
"So what do we do now?" Blue asked.
"I haven't thought about that yet," Cricket replied. "We should probably start by looking for Luna and Swordtail and maybe even free Sundew."
"Luna," Blue murmured, "Oh no, what if she's lost, what if she's dead? We need to find them!"
"Settle down. I'm sure they're okay," Cricket said in a comforting voice. "Swordtail will protect her."
"But what if Swordtail isn't okay? What if he died and Luna has nobody? We gotta go out an-"
"Blue, you're cute and all when you fear what's to come, but I'm sure they'll be fine. Calm down."
Blue hesitated.
"Wait, say again?"
"What? Calm down I'm sure they're fine?"
"No, before that."
"Swordtail will protect her?"
"No, the part where I'm cute when I fear what's to come."
"Well you seem to have heard it just fine, why do I need to repeat it?"
"I don't know...," Blue said, a bit shy all of a sudden.
After a while of awkward silence, Blue speaks.
"I'm sorry I brought you into this mess." he says.
"Blue," Cricket said.
"What?"
"I brought this to myself when I pulled you into that shed. It wasn't your fault. My life was as boring as my history teacher before you 'brought me into this mess.' I'd rather be here, than with my brainwashed sister, just living life purposeless. Out here, I have a purpose: to stop the Queen. We wouldn't have discovered the reading monkey if this didn't happen."
Tears were threatening to spill, but cricket held them in.
"The Queen is evil. She controls other dragons to do the dirty work, imprisons dragons because they can make flamesilk, and has wiped out tribes because they wouldn't surrender and give up their own government. It's just-"
By then the tears were spilling. Cricket buried her head into her arms, and cried for the entirety of LeafWings, and all the innocent lives lost. She cried because Blue probably didn't love her as she did him.
After a moment, Cricket felt a hand on hers. She looked up with teary eyes and met Blue's eyes.
"We will stop Queen Wasp, and avenge the LeafWings. We will get through this, I promise," Blue said reassuringly.
He lay down next to Cricket.
Cricket scooched closer to Blue, until she could feel his breath on her back. His scales were still warm from his Metamorphosis.
They stayed like this for awhile.
"Blue?" Cricket asked after she was completely done crying.
"Yes?" He replied.
"I don't know how to say this, so I'll just get to the point. But, it it to soon, to say, I love you?"
Blue seemed to stiffen up, then relax.
"It's not soon enough, because, I love you too."
Cricket felt like the sky was just lifted off her shoulders. She rolled over so she was facing Blue.
"You do?" she asked.
"Definitely," he confirmed with a nod.
Cricket hugged Blue. They snuggled for a bit and fell asleep.
