Scene 9

It is now about 2 months on from that incident, nearly graduation week for Jeonghan and Jisoo. The nightmares had stopped for Jisoo, and he returned to normal. Jeonghan was the same before the incident, just with new understanding for Seungcheol's emotions. His voice was still perpetually hidden in his mind.

For graduation, the students were required to put on one last performance. It was to mark the end of their lives as students, and the start line for their working lives. Everyone was very much looking forward to seeing it.

Rehearsals commenced. Seungcheol still liked to look on from the upper gallery. No one ever noticed he was there. Except every so often, Jeonghan would catch a bit of movement from a figure dressed in all white cotton from above the stage.

The performance day approached. Dress rehearsals had gone smoothly. For once, nothing exciting happened backstage, just beforehand.

The show was over in what seemed like a split second. The audience gave a rapturous applause and standing ovation. Jeonghan, Jisoo, and the rest of the students stood proudly on that stage for what could be the last time for many of them, hand in hand and grinning ear to ear. The curtain descended and it was all over, for now.
