Natala POV
Something happened
Like a switch turns off somewhere
And all I'm left with is the darkness
Each time it seems like I sink deeper and deeper
And I'm scared
Terrified that one day I won't make it back up
I feel like I'm gasping for air
Screaming for help
But no one can hear
It makes me feel like crazy
I want to go back
To my kids
To my family
To my love of life
To my mate
I can hear muffled voices
And it's getting clear every time I hear them getting closer.
" doctor please we should wait she will wake up trust me I fucking feel it " I can feel a something hard holding my hand but I can't even squeeze it or anything
" babe please wake up, I need you, you can't leave me, it's been six months, I can't live without, I will die if you died, who will take care of our kids huh? Please babe I miss so much , I will wait for you I will keep all the promises,the doctors are telling me to let you go, but I can't accept it I just can't give up cause I can feel that you will wake up, I trust you and I will wait till the end, I love you so bad, please wake up" he weeps and it's painful to hear.
I wanted to say it back, I wanted to say it back but I couldn't
I felt like someone is dragging me to the white and here I am in the middle of a forest.
I just kept walking hoping someone or something will put me back to my family and to the love of my life.
It's a no ending path, there is no end here, but it kept getting lighter and lighter.
I don't know for how long I kept walking, but here I am in front of this deer that we found when we met the moon goddess, I felt like she's calling me so I followed it hoping it will end so sooner.
Again in front that castle. I heard her
"hello, again darling " she came out of the castle.
" you can come in" and she disappears inside the castle again. I walked behind her again to that room when I was there the last time with Asher.
"Why Am I here?" I ask her welling for an answer
"You can sit then I will tell you" I sat on the ancient couch
"I will listen but I want to go back please, " I say my eyes watering cuz just hearing Ash pleading make my heart ache for leaving for too long
" okay. Your body was exhausted, the scars, the wounds, and everything happened to you there was making your body more exhausted so it shut itself down because you used a lot of power when your body was exhausted.
It took a lot of time to your body from the inside to heal itself, back up there you fell in a coma for six months but you don't look that good, the scars and the wounds won't heal until you wake up. So that's why I'm here helping you wake up again" she explains and holds my hand.
" Yes please I want to go back," I said with tears coming down from my eyes
"Don't cry darling, just close your eyes and imagine yourself with your family then you will wake up, trust me "
I closed my eyes slowly imagining everything. Me with Asher, the way he proposed to me, the moment I saw my kids, the moment I met him, the heated moment we have together, from the begging till I wasn't in his hands, in his warmth, in his embrace. I opened my eyes slowly again, here I am seeing the white ceiling ,Hearing the heart monitor beeps and my vision getting clearer and clearer. I can feel warmness and pressure on my hand, moving my head to see my mate sleeping looking horrible on that chair. I squeezed his hands, he stirred but still didn't wake up
"Asher," I said with my sore throat. He slowly opened his eyes. I can see the red eyes that he have and it's all because of me.
"Hey, " I said to him smiling
"B-babe y-your a-awake?" I nodded and he came crushing me with a hug burring his he'd on my neck and I can feel hot water on my shoulder.
"I missed you so bad" he said sobbing on my shoulder I hugged him back
"I missed you too" I can feel the tears out of my eyes
Asher pov
I felt weak, the doctor came telling that we should turn off the machines that are attached to her but I kept pleading
"doctor please we should wait she will wake up trust me I feel it" he looked down and left the room. I hold Natala' hand crying myself out. Those six month was horrible. I took care of our kids, I brought them here every day and I dealt with the pack business
" babe please wake up, I need you, you can't leave me, it's been six months, I can't live without you, I will die if you died, who will take care of our kids huh? Please babe I miss so much , I will wait for you I will keep all the promises,the doctors are telling me to let you go, but I can't accept it I just can't give up cause I can feel that you will wake up, I trust you and I will wait till the end, I love you so bad, please wake up"
I kept talking to her but I got no response. Nausea washed over and and I slowly drifted to sleep. I don't know how many hours I slept but then I felt I weak pressure on my hand but I don't think it's her because I kept imagining all the time but then I heard the beautiful voice I heard her calling my name. Opening my eyes to see this beautiful eyes looking at me.
"Hey," she said
I crushed her with a hard hug, feeling my tears falling down
"I missed you so bad," I said to her sobbing hard
" I missed you too" I don't how long I was holding her
" wait, I should call the doctor" I left missing her already heading to doctor Shawn office
"Alpha? Do you need something?" He asked worriedly
"Natala woke up," I said widely smiling. He gets out running and I could hear his orders to the nurses
I got back to the room seeing doctor Shawn checking on my mate.
"Mia, CC brothers, mom, and dad bring the children and come to the hospital" I mind linked them
"The salient pack I have some happy news for you..... your Luna woke up" I can hear there cheering through the mind link.
Because finally my Queen woke up.
