[Ok so I was watching Coco, and I saw ^ this part, in which I thought, "hey, Miguel would be like that with Y/N, then. He wouldn't be all romantic... omg!" Which led me to this idea for this story!]

[If you've watched the old Disney cartoons, you'll see this is inspired by that cute little scene with Skippy and Maid Marian in Robin Hood. uwu]

[Whatever age you are, Miguel is young, in his tweens maybe]

(?) "You do!"

(Miguel) "I do not!"

(Rosa) "You do!! You have a crush on Y/N!"

(Him) "N-no way! That's just sissy stuff!"

(Her) "You-"

Miguel and Rosa continue bickering before they spot a certain Y/H/C haired girl.

(You) "Hey guys! What's up?"

(Her) "Hey, Y/N."

(Him) "H-hola..."

(You) "What are you guys doing?"

(Her) "Oh... Nothing, really, I-..."

Rosa ponders and looks around the plaza for a while, before pulling a thoughtful face, and having a masterful plan.

(Her) "Hey... Y/N. Do you have a crush on anyone?"

Your cheeks form a dusting of red from Rosa's remark.

Miguel bites his lip and fidgets a little.

(You) "Oh, uh. I'm not really sure!"

(Her) "Well, what about that guy over there? He's pretty cute!"

She pulls an evil face to the devastated Miguel.

(Him) "Wha-w-what?!"

(You) "I don't know... maybe?"

(Her) "You should go talk to him!"

She says before pushing you towards him.

(You) "Well, alright..."

(Him) "n-n-nu-NO!!"

Miguel belts out, for the whole plaza to hear.

You turn around in confusion

(You) "Huh? Why?"

(Him) "U-uhh-uh... b-because..."

You look at him and tilt your head with confusion and concern.

Rosa crosses her arms and mimickingly grimaces.

(Him) "uh... That guy has herpes!"

(Both) "What?!"

(Him) "U-uhhh..."

Rosa walks up to Miguel and leans against him.

(Her) "Isn't he adorable? My cousin has a wittle cwush on you!"

(You) "Aw, is that true, Miguel?"

(Him) "N-no! She's lying!"

(Her) "It's clear he does!"

(You) "Awww, that's so cute!"

You walk up to him and kiss his blushing cheek as Rosa bursts into laughter.

(Him) "Bleh! Gross!"

Miguel shouts before running off, leaving you and Rosa in tears from laughing.

When Miguel gets back home he runs into his bedroom, flings himself onto his bed and screams into his pillow.

(Him) "Y/N KISSED MEEEE!!!!"
