This is part one of their wonderland.

I sat by the sea, staring at what used to be my home. I could feel my eyes becoming extremely wet and blurry once again, it confused me. My large ears flattened, and my bull's tail swished behind me, randomly hitting against my shell. I tried to hold back my tears, but then I started hiccuping. My body quivered, and I sobbed loudly. My hooves lightly tapped against the ground, and my dark green mittens were now covered in salty tears. This was my normal, daily routine, to cry my heart out about not being a turtle.

A voice came from in front of me, "This young lady would like to know your story!"

My story? I looked up to find the gryphon and an unfamiliar human girl. Oh, I understand.

"I-I'll tell her, but don't say a word until I'm finished," I told them my one condition.

The two people nodded their heads, and waited patiently. I tried to tell them what had happened, but nothing came out than gargled "I"s. They murmured something to each other, and I finally said something.

"I- Once I was a real turtle! When we went to school we went to school in the sea! I-I-I-," I started stuttering.

The gryphon ran towards me and started hitting my shell, stopping my constant hiccuping. The girl looked at me oddly, but decided to listen. I asked her, "You haven't lived in the sea, haven't you?"

"No, of course not," She replied.

"Then you haven't met a lobster," I asked in shock.

"Well, no."

"Then you haven't seen a lobster dance!"

"Pff, I'd like to see that."

What a rude young girl, but I must show her. I grabbed the gryphon, and started jumping around. He knew how to do it, so we mimicked each other perfectly. The girl giggled at our dance, and continued watching, until we finished. Once again, my tears ran down my cheeks, and I knew she'd have to leave.

"You must go now, no more time to waste, off to the queen," I hiccuped, as I pulled her towards where I sat before.

"Where are you taking me? This is the sea," She cried out.

"You'll understand young lady, goodbye," I sobbed.

She shrieked, as I threw her into the water. Gryphon said his goodbyes to me, and skipped away.

"What a ride," A familiar voice came from behind me.

"It looked like fun. Will you dance for us," Another familiar voice asked.

I turned around to be greeted by two wide grins. My tail swished more violently behind me, and my sobs turned into hiccups. They both walked towards me in sync. I pressed myself against a rock, and slid down. I pulled my turtleneck over my head, and pressed myself into a ball. I could hear them sit next to me, getting a lot closer than usual.

One pulled my head out, and smiled brightly at me. The other started wiping my tears, and kissed my cheek. I was honestly confused, and everything was a little blurry. The same exact memories ran through my head, and my sudden loud cries scared them.

"You cry a lot," Hikaru pointed out, still wiping my tears away.

I stare at him with a disappointed look on my face. He just shrugged his shoulders.

"Why," Kaoru asked.

I looked down at my leather mittens, and thought: why was I like this? I had been this way for a long time, and all I could remember was some sort of soup.
