Love to the test . (A Loki fanfic)

Part II

The grin that Ayesha knew was showing through the dim light .

"Please let this not be a dream" as she places her hand on someone's cheek. Knowing that Jaw, that she's kissed so many times, and the cheek that she has touched so many times..

"It's real, love"

That's all she needed, those three words to make her smile like a complete idiot . Tears start to fall down her face, pure relief washes over her, knowing the love of her life wasn't dead in front of her . Sadness knowing that one day that she would have to let go of him again, because there is always a catch ... stupid universe .

The lights come on, Ayesha is a mess while Loki is looking at her with worry and happiness in his eyes, he wipes away Ayesha's tears with his thumb.

"What is wrong?" Loki said, scared to know that she actually is upset that he is back, maybe she found a new lover. But in truth, Ayesha stayed by Loki's side until she had to leave him.. because the ship blew up. And so did her world .

Him..

"Nothing, I'm just so happy" Ayesha gives Loki one of the biggest smiles on earth .

Loki smiles back in relief.

"I just don't understand.. how? And I-i- saw you die.. and I-" Loki puts a finger to Ayesha's mouth as she  starts to tear up again.

"I can't explain it to you right now, but.. I promise to never leave your side again" Loki says with a husky voice, pulling Ayesha in for a hug .

She gladly wraps her hands around his back, taking in his sent . Something that she thought she'd never experience again.

"I love you" she mumbles and smiles .

Loki's face went completely red, but continued to squeeze her, so she couldn't see his face . He's wanted to hear those words for a long time .. he never thought he'd hear them again.. but he did ..

"I love you more.." he says, trying to calm his beating heart from exploding from his chest .

After 20 minuets of just not talking, both of them decided to come out of the tent and face everyone again..

Ayesha was completely scared. She knew after she walked out of the tent, the whole world would find a way to take Loki away from her.. and that's the last thing she wanted .

Loki could see the worry radiating off her, wanting to talk to her about it .. but not now .. he knew what was going on her head ... and he knew she was right .

He grabbed her hand, giving it a little squeeze to reassure her that every thing is going to be okay.

Both of them took a deep breath... and started walking out of the tent ..

This was the next test... to determine that god was willing to give them what they wished .. love .

Putting their love to the test once more ..
