WHEN REMUS TOLD her to blow her parents away, one last time, he really did not think that she would take him so seriously and end up in several detentions or going all out with the twins, but she did.
The Hogsmeade trip had come and gone, and the night of Halloween had settled in, along with various other pranks set up by the twins, Madeleine and Athena. The girls would always clarify their own participation, but the boys were reluctant in admitting that the girls were the true brains behind their pranks.
In all honesty, Maddie thought that they were simply too embarrassed that they had two girls aiding their every move— not a lot of people knew that they didn't plan their own pranks 100% of the time— but, really, the reason their cheeks flushed at it was because of the innocent little crushes that made their stomachs turn every time they made eye contact with the two girls. It was known throughout the whole school that they were crushing and that feelings were reciprocated, but both parties were too oblivious to do anything. Until Halloween eve anyway.
Maddie didn't know that anything had happened until the four, and Aur, was sitting at the Gryffindor table that evening. She had spent the way in detention and catching up on homework, doing anything to take her mind off of her family and stop herself from sitting in her own tears. Her friends, however, were too busy grinning at each other, clearly knowing something that she didn't. She squinted at them. "You're all hiding something, what is it?"
"Thea and Fred kissed last night," Aur grinned, still giddy from the revelation.
Maddie's jaw dropped as she turned to the two, their cheeks tinted red. "Really?"
Athena nodded, confirming it was true. She brushed her fingers across her lips, remembering how it felt to kiss him. Maddie watched her, giggling to herself as it brought back memories of her brother doing the same thing after he kissed Sabrina for the first time.
Wiggling her eyebrows, Aur tapped Athena's arm repeatedly, bringing her back to earth. "How was it?"
"It was... soft, I don't know," She whispered, blushing slightly. "I don't know... It was nice."
Athena didn't really know how it happened. The two of them were sat alone in one of the windows, just looking outside at the stars as a howl sounded through the air, complementing the brightness of the full moon. Athena had felt Fred staring at her and her cheeks had turned pink from his gaze, making him chuckle. To her, it happened too fast. He simply leaned forward and rested his hands on her jaw, bringing her lips to meet his.
Athena wasn't opposed to the idea of kissing him, and when she did, everything felt content. So she closed her eyes, rested her hand on his neck, and kissed him back. Athena couldn't ignore the feeling and wanted to kiss him again, but she tried her hardest.
