"Hello, captain," Said someone behind me. I whipped around and looked at the person. He was tall and had brown and white hair.
"Do you work here?" I asked him.
"Yes, I work here." He said. He looks like someone who did the rowing when the wind was not that strong or not there at all. I could tell that before I asked the question. But I wanted to make sure.
"So, why are you here?" I asked him, "and what is your name?"
"My name is Evan Williams and I am here because we need food," He said.
"Why didn't you get some before we went off the sore?" I asked.
"Jeff would not let us."
"I will go talk to him," I said, walking away from him. When I opened the door, Jeff fell through the door way.
"Were you listening on our conversation?" I asked him.
"Maybe, maybe not." He said.
"Why did you not let people off the ship?" I asked.
"Because I didn't," He said. I stared at him with the death glare.
"Fine" I said. Walking around him. Evan walked out awhile ago. I went to front of the ship and enjoyed it for a few hours. How can Jeff be so stupid? How can anyone be so stupid? I heard foot steps coming my way, I turned around. I found Jeff standing there, with his sad green eyes.
"I am sorry," He said.
"What are... " I trailed off, "yes you should be sorry now I have everyone has to slavish what they have left. And we have to find land, also I don't even know what body of water we are in right now" While I was saying that I was getting closer and closer to him with every word I said. By the end, I had my hand clucking his clothes and him being scared. How could he be so dumb here?
"I am really sorry," He said putting his hands up, "I just wanted everyone to be in sight of me" He looked down and then back up again with a fire in his eyes. He pulled out a small hand knife. It had leather hand grip with something engraved on it, I couldn't tell what it was.
"Don't even think about it?" I said putting him down and raising up my hooked hand, "or I will slit your throat into a million pics" It's even right now.
"Brig it on," He said coming forward with a lung. I side swiped him to the right, I came behind him and put my hooked hand on his throat.
"That was too easy," I said.
"I was just warming up," He said.
"I will always win," I said. I felt a mettle in my right side of my stomach. I put my right hand where the blade was, pulled it out and put the point of the blade where his heart would be.
"Looks like I won this," I said to him, "what should I do to you? Should I put the knife through your heart and through you over board or set you free with out your knife?"
"Neither" He said wiggling himself free and jumping over board, "see ya neva, captain!" I looked down at my hand, and the engraved handle of the knife. The engraving said 'who ever has this knife, will have the sea man's heart.' Then some Latin words all around the ones that I could read. Ugh, I already have that kind of heart during the summer. Now I will have it thought the whole year. I looked back at him next to the boat. He waved and swam off. He would have died any of those ways. But, he made the choice he made. I looked out in front of the boat and saw land ahead. I looked back at the three masts where, and I saw men climbing up and down them, men pulling rope, and men looking at Jeff confused. I came down from where I was.
"Captain, what happened between you and Mr. Smithy?" One asked.
"Yeh, what happened?" Another one asked.
"I will tell y'all what happened once we dock and get some food for at least a mouth," I said. Still walking towards the captain's deck.
"Who will be your right-hand man now?" Said Evan, "I hope it will be me"
"Yes it will be you," I said.
"Yes!" He yelled, "I have been waiting for this!" I walked up the stairs and to where you steer the ship. I grabbed the wheel and steered into the dock.

"Ready for landing?" I asked one of the guards."Ready as I'll ever be," He said."Okay here we go," I said.I held on the controls and we were coming down. "Alright I will drive for a little while longer and we will dock at when we reach a good strong keel.""Aye Aye Captain," The men yelled. I heard a voice behind me and I turned around."Mr. Smithy!"
