Papers and clothes were all over the ground. “Woops” is all I could say.
She looked up and smiled. She was beautiful. She had golden hair with the prettiest blue eyes and the softest looking lips. She was gorgeous.
“Im so sorry!” I finally said being apologetic.
“Its fine” She replied with a grin. I helped her pick up her stuff and we talked for a bit and she was staying in the room next to me.
“Well I really have to go” I said.
“Ok ill see you later.” I turned around and walked down the hall then ran for the elevator. My heart was racing. My hands were starting to sweat. She actually talked to me and smiled. I couldn't believe it. And she was in the room next to mine. As much as I thought it was amazing. I k new it would be down right awful. I finally met up with Kyle in the lobby.
“Were is everyone?” I asked.
“They already left.”
“Were did they go?” I replied a bit confused.
“Well the girls went to the pool and Tom went to get booze for tonight.”
“Well then what the hell are we doing here?” I asked with a evilish smile. We both walked out to the parking garage to get the car. Tom had called and told us to meet him at this really cool spot he found. We were a bit confused but we decided to go. On the way I told Kyle about Sophie and he told me to just forget about it. But how could I? Ive had a crush on her since 2nd grade. Kyle had been my bestfriend for as long as I can remember. We were the closest of friends you will ever find. We even shared this one girl one time.
When we finally got to the spot Tom told us to meet him. We were surprised to be stopped by a fence with a warning sign on it. Me and Kyle looked at each other and knew we better start drinking now. We got a couple Heineken's and hopped the fence and started looking for Tom. We finally came to a clearing and what we saw blew our minds. We walked into a huge open area were in the middle was a crystal clear pond that looked like a mini lake with a waterfall that was at least 50 feet. It was an amazing place. The pond was really deep though so you couldn't exactly see the bottom. Then we saw Tom at the top of the waterfall. Tom is a bit of a crazy asshole. He yelled down at us and jumped off the top. The entire way down he was screaming like a little girl. When he hit the watter I swear I heard him cry. He finally popped up out of the water and had the biggest smile on his face.
“That was...AWESOME!” he said sounding like he just won a noble prize.
“Your and idiot” me and Kyle said. He got out of the water and looked at us and just grinned his evil grin.
“Theres something at the bottom of the pond.” he said with a serious voice.
“Oh really?” Kyle said.
“And what might this be?” I asked him.
“I don't know thats why we need to find out!” He said quickly and excitedly.
“How do we do that genius?” asked Kyle.
“Theres caves behind the waterfall that go down and aren't full of water” Tom replied with some smart ass attitude. We didn't say anything we just walked over to the waterfall. And surely enough there was a cave entrance.
“Well are we gonna check it out or just stand around like a bunch of panzies?” Tom asked and smiled.
“Why the hell not” me and kyle replied.
We walked into the cave and it was actually quite bright. There was glowing moss all over the ceiling. The strangest thing though was that the cave did go down but it went down like a spiraling staircase. It looked like it was actually a staircase. We didn't say anything we just started walking down. The entire way down was lined with glowing moss. It seemed like hours h ad pass when we finally came to the bottom. It opened up into this gigantic room. There was an opening in the ground were you could see the water. But the ground was made of glass in that area. We walked over and looked through it and there wasn't anything special. Right as we were about to leave the ground started to move.
“What the hell was that?” Tom asked scared.
“I don't know. Just no one move” Kyle replied breathing hard and out of breath. Suddenly the glass started to move down and we found our selves in a glass column going down farther into the pond.
We looked around but we couldn't see anything. The tube went down for miles. When it finally stopped we shot up and looked around. The glass column had turned to concrete and we were now facing two iron doors. They slid open and reviled nothing but darkness.
“I cant see a damn thing” I said.
“Does anyone have a flashlight?” Tom asked.
“Ya asshole let me just get it out of my cave exploring backpack” Kyle said sarcastically.
“You guys relax just use the light from your phone.” I said. We turned on our phones and as we walked out of the elevator the entire cavern lit up in super bright lights and we found our selves standing in a room full of huge wooden crates.
There was nothing else in the room. Just a bunch of crates and weapons and explosives. We didn't say anything to each other we just stood in silence and looked around the cavern in amazement. To the right of us were crates full of ammo and guns standing up against them. To our left were crates full of explosives and enormous steel chains. And all the way at the end of the cavern Was the a steel cage with the most horrifying looking thing we had ever seen.
“You guys see what I see right?” Kyle asked shakily.
“What the fuck is it?” Tom said just as scared. I didn't say anything. I just stood there in amazement marveling at the creature. In a cage that stretched about 450 feet and stood about 600 feet tall, layed what looked like a dragon. It was black and had torn up wings. Its spikes were white and his eyes were yellow mixed with green. He didn't move. Just layed there and looked at us. When finally we noticed there was a mark on its head that looked like the letter K. There was a door behind the right side of the cage that read exit. We started walking over to it and when we were about to grab the handle. The dragon moved and looked right at us and tried to grab Kyle. We freaked out and ran threw the door as fast as we could. Right as we got threw the door we were followed with fire. When we got up we found ourselves in another elevator. When we finally got back to the top we were at the top of the waterfall. As we walked to the edge of it we heard something like an explosion behind us followed with a burning sensation and rushing wind.
“I don't even wanna know” was all Tom said as he jumped off the waterfall into the pond below. Kyle followed after him.
“Well fuck you guys to” I yelled.
“Turn around!” was my answer. I turned around to find the dragon we had crossed in the cavern staring right at me with its face feet from mine. All it did was look up and fly away. But it went back into the hole it came out of. I just stood there staring into the hole. “How in the fuck does this shit happen?” I murmured. Confused I just turned around and jumped into the pond with Kyle and Tom.
“Christies gonna be so pissed we were gone for so long.” is all Kyle had to say.
“Fuck off!” Me and Tom both said.
“We dont say anything about this to anyone. Understand?” I told them.
“Ya, ya we get it.” Kyle said irritatedly.
“Lets just get fucked up and forget it” Tom said with that damn evil grin.
