Yes yes this is the last chapter, please don't hate me :')
Chika's P.O.V.
When we finally arrived at the bus stop, I kept track of the time hoping we would make it to the surprise.
“Can you at least give me a clue?” Yō asked and I looked at her dumbfounded.“What do you mean?” I asked and Yō pouted,
“Never mind.” She said while staring at her phone screen, I nudged her and she looked at me clearly sad.
“You're waiting for a reply from Riko-chan right?” I guessed and she nodded slowly as a sad sigh escape her lips.
‘Don't worry Yō-chan, me and Yoshiko-chan have something for you and Riko.’
“Hey cheer up, I'm sure my surprise will cheer you up.” I said, trying to cheer her up and she looked at me and smiled weakly.
“How sure are you though?” She asked and I wonder for a sec.
“100% sure!” I said cheerfully and Yō chuckled sadly.
“Well you better not disappoint me.” She said while smirking and I smirked back and nodded.
“I'm sure I won't.” I said and Yō shot me a teasing look before following me.
“You're not going to kill me right?” She asked while backing away defensively but I pulled her and laugh.
“What? No! You know I wouldn't do that.” I defended myself and Yō laugh and shook her head.
“Alright, let's just go to your so-called surprise.” She said and I nodded cheerfully and began leading her to my surprise, more like the surprise me and Yoshiko planned.
Yō's P.O.V.
I wonder where her so-called surprise is? More importantly... I wonder how Riko is doing. I hate to admit the fact that I miss her. And even until now my thoughts has always been Riko... And hopefully this surprise will make me forget the fact that I miss Riko.
“Hey Yō-chan we're here.” I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up,
‘The park?’
“Your surprise is here in the park?” I asked dumbfounded and Chika nodded and continued walking until I saw lights.
As I continue to walk closer I saw two familiar people and once I realized who it was, I froze.
“Chika, why is Riko and Yoshiko doing here?” I asked and Chika glanced at my direction and didn't utter a single word instead she just pulled me.
When Riko noticed me, her eyes were wide open. As we walked closer I tried avoiding her golden orbs but soon my eyes met hers.
“Sorry we're late.” Chika said apologetically.
“Y-yeah.” I stuttered while my gaze was focused on the certain girl.“Anyways, me and Chika-chan still have something to do. So enjoy!” Yoshiko said and dragged Chika away. I was about to protest but for some reason I didn't.
“So... Should we enjoy the surprise they worked hard on?” Riko spoke first and I quickly glance at her direction and nodded.
“They worked hard on it so might as well just enjoy it, right?” I said and Riko nodded and so we sat on the picnic table and began eating the food they prepared and trust me it was awkward.
As we both silently are the food they prepared, I kept glancing at Riko. The way she elegantly ate her food, the way she looked so confused but gorgeous at the same time.
“Riko-chan...” I finally spoke and she looked at me and there I get to look at the golden orbs that almost seemed like it shined.
“What is it?” Her voice sounded like an angel singing a lullaby to me. It was soft yet alluring.
“I...” I was in a loss for words, because apparently she took my breath away, the way she looked straight into my baby blue orbs, I couldn't help but blush. I quickly looked away and sigh.
“I... I'm sorry.” I finally said the words I've been wanting to say and when I glanced at the beautiful angel in front of me I blushed once again.
“Why are you sorry?” She asked confusingly.
“I-It's nothing...” I stuttered and stood up and began walking away, as I walked away I wanted her to just hug me from the back and tell me that she loves me. I just want her back.
But what was I expecting?
I was already far from the park and she still didn't chase me.
Did you give up on me, Riko-chan?
As I was about to turn around, I felt soft arms wrapped around my waist. I flinched but the touch seemed familiar.
“I'm sorry, Yō-chan, for acting like a fool.” She whispered and I turned to her direction on to see her crying. It broke my heart when I saw her crying, so I hugged her and put her head on my shoulder as she cried.
“Shhhh, don't worry. Stop crying.” I said but she didn't instead she cried even more.
“But... You hate... Me...” She said between her sobs. But I grabbed her shoulders and made her look straight into my eyes, but soon I kissed her passionately, which she of course kissed back.
As I pulled away, I once again looked at her right in her eyes.
“I'll always love you, no matter what happens.” I confessed and Riko blushed and looked away.
“Are you sure?” She said and I nodded.
“100% sure. I love you Riko.” I said genuinely and she blush at my honesty.
“I love you too.” She said and I hugged her.“I'm just glad it's you, who I get to fall in love with.” I whispered and she smiled and hug tightly.
~Few years Later~
As years passed by, me and Riko are still together. Riko worked as a musician and I became an athlete, what happened to the rest?
Well... Let's just say they have their own story to tell.
What matters the most is what happens in the present. Although we did have a few misunderstandings in the past but now, we didn't even bring it up, why? Because we were enjoying what's happening in the present.
So this is the end of my story on how I found the girl I love and cherish. And as for the rest, well like I said they have a their own story to tell soon.
