Chapter 6-

 We spent a hour or so tracking Lauren down and when we found her she embraced me with a huge hug, but then I blurted, "Is that baby Jaysons?"

Lauren just stared at me and laughed. "No. It's your father's." she smiled like it was nothing.

"No way." I breathed.

"NO! Not.. ew. He's my brother. Look, maybe I should tell you both about what you're really about. I know the Wedmore's won't." she said and sat Nathan and I down.

 She explained that there was three families way back when with the names of Monroe,Chadwick and Landon.  The Chadwick family was the ones to raise my great-great-great-only-the-Goddess-knows-how-many-greats ex-aunt. They had her for years until she was eighteen when the Landons came into the picture.

 The Monroe family was the Royals of the time, and the very first to have both the king and queen be wolves, or what Bethany called them, Shifters. Axel Monroe, the son of the King and Queen was also a duke and Bethany's mate.

 Bethany had found out that her family was a family of female oracles and that there are more shifters than she'd ever had guessed. But what she didn't know, was that she and Axel would be the start of the World Pack and the white wolves.

Her family eventually had bled off into many other packs as the white wolves faded into nothing until the King and Queen's parents met and the perfect amount of White Wolf DNA was produced. Now, the World Pack is obviously back. But there was a twist. The Chadwick gene got mixed in heavily at some point.

 I start to come into the story with Eleanor Brassfield and Martin Bourne. Martin was a Moroi-secret-werewolf when he raped his werewolf mate Eleanor. She became impregnated and never spoke to him again as he turned Strigoi, but changed her name to match his. Bourne.

 Lets just say that there is very bad blood in Lauren and Patrick Amberlynn's family. The name Bourne was the family name for centuries until Lauren and Patrick's mother from the Bourne family married into the Amberlynn family- vampire-werewolf blood watered out.

 According to Lauren, I'm her biological daughter and on my birth father's side the name was Landon for ages and still is today. Genevieve Chadwick, Bethany Chadwick-Monroe's eldest sister and oracle, was mates with Eric Landon and had my great-OnlyTheGoddessKnowsHowManyGreats-great grandmother and her multiple sibilings.

 The White Wolves were born soon after the very first Big War was started with the Strigoi. It was totally exotic and the Goddess had decided the werewolves needed to stay somehow and her way to save them was to create four super-supernatural wolves. It worked big time but there was a problem. Time was to repeat itself until someone stopped the cycle.

  I bet you can guess who started to stop the cycle? Me. I'm having someone else's baby and there is no chance he'll be a White Wolf now. There are many other problems in our ancestry, but that is to be resolved when the time comes.

"So.. You've got my baby brother in there?" I ask my mother.

"Hah, yeah I do." she smiled.

"Where's father.. Mother?" I ask.

"In hiding. He's a Landon and it's so hard for him to come forward. Everyone's ancestry was lost to so many families except ours. Your father Amberlynn knows, he just refused to tell you." Mother shrugged.
