Asriel and Chara

(Authors POV)
         As Chara watched Sans and (y/n) in secret, Asriel watched Chara, a frown on his adorable face. He might try to agree with Chara, but he didn't hate humans at all. How could he when his best friend is a human? Asriel trusts Sans' judgement and seeing as how Sans likes this human girl, he too couldn't see anything wrong with her. Asriel wanted to believe in his best friend but also knew that Chara's judgment was clouded with the hate she has for humans. Knowing this Asriel decided he would find out what type of person this new human girl was, even if Chara would get upset with him doing so.

        He decided that if she was as good as she seemed then he would use the rest of his time, in this form that the creepy Gaster thing from the void had given him, to rid his kingdom of this hate. He could tell Chara's soul was cloudy with it and her eyes were filled with it, especially when she thought of humans or human lovers.

       So that day when (y/n) was alone, since Paps and Sans were busy, Asriel payed her a visit. He made sure to be well aware of his surroundings to watch out for Chara and just in case (y/n) really was as bad as Chara made her out to be.

(Y/N POV)
       I go up to Sans' room. He says I'mma be staying in there with him, so he can make sure I'm not found out. He says I'm taking the bed since he can sleep anywhere he wants. There was no mini sock tornado, which was kind of dissapointing, and it was cleaner than my Sans' room.  But it was nice, though I'll be surprised if I can get a full nights sleep knowing Sans will be in here. Who knows what I'll do in my sleep.

      "Hey, your names (y/n), right?" A voice asks me making me jump. It's Asriel. "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, " He says seeing the shock on my face.

     "It's alright. You just surprised me, that's all," I inform him with a soft smile.

     He smiles back, and starts asking me about random things seeing if I might know about them. He also asked me my thoughts on humans and monsters, which got him a complicated answer and a simple answer. Then we talked about cooking, baking, foods and desserts. What surprised me is when he asked me about Gaster.

     "What do I know about Gaster?" I ask him, making sure I heard him right.

     "Yea. There was this thing in the void that called itself Gaster, so I was wondering if you know anything about it, " Asriel explains.

      "Well, I don't know much, but I've heard that Gaster was a scientist that fell into his creation and when this happened practically everyone forgot about him. I have heard something saying that he's alive, but trapped in someplace called the void, and that he knows what's going on, but his souls been disoriented, meaning that he might not have any feelings. Therefore I've heard he's pretty dangerous." I didn't add the part that I've heard he's Sans' and Paps Dad. "But I'm not really sure how much of this is true or not. " I also didn't mention the fact that I've heard he's a skeleton, because he might think of Sans and Paps.

        Asriel looked at me shocked for a moment, but then started looking like he was thinking about something. "So do you think because he was a scientist that he could've figured out a way to keep something that should be dead alive? " He asks suddenly.

     With that I know exactly why he asked me. "Probably. Is that how you and Chara are still alive? "

     "Kind of, but it also has something to do with her hate and determination. It's really strong and Gaster said he used that as a base to keep us alive."

    "I see, that makes sense. Determination is something powerful that humans posses, some more than others."

     "I see, well thanks (y/n), and please don't tell Paps or Sans I was here, Chara doesn't know Im here and I kinda want it to stay that way."

     "Of course, I understand, I won't tell them, I promise."

      With that Asriel left with a smile right as Sans got back from work. What an interesting day it's been.
