"What tha"Maxine said clearly enraged "such a short amount of time,are these people mad or what"."They probably have a good reason for this"Max said trying to calm her down. "Well are you happy to be leaving home "."No I never said that I just meant that, if they are taking us from home its probably for something".I looked to the side and noticed everyone had gone off to say goodbye."OH AND BY THE WAY, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PACk MORE THAN ONE BAG WORTH OF STUFF".The man in the cloak said as we began to walk towards our house.
We sprinted back home to pack our bags then say goodbye, we had about 6 minutes left before we had to go.Max busted the door open and ran to our room upstairs and went to his half of the room.It was a reasonably large room that was divided in half for both of us to have our own side."Awe man, less than five minutes to go and we have not packed anything and we haven't said goodbye ", Maxine said getting sad. "The faster we pack the quicker we can see them", Max said as he finished packing.At least what he thought was packing.He ran downstairs and jumped his dad nearly dropping him on the ground.They enjoyed the moment. "I'm gonna miss you Boy""I'm gonna miss you too dad".They released each other and Max walked over to his mom and hugged her too.Just then Maxine came down the stairs and they all came in for a group hug.
Zodwa :"i am really gonna miss you guys .
Max ;"were gonna miss you too"
Maxy : "we would be nothing without you guys and don't worry were gonna visit".
Tadi : "I wish it we're possible once you leave there's no coming back until you graduate"
Maxy : "Graduate? ,is it some kind of school"
Tadi : " we are not allowed to say anything "
"Max : " We... A LOUD HORN COULD BE HEARD FROM OUTSIDE
"I guess times up". Zodwa said with sadness creeping into her. The two kids walked out of after one last family hug.
Maxwells POV
we walked out of the house almost in tears ,we had never been away from home except for when we went on hunting trips so this would be a new one for us and I knew Maxy wasn't taking it that well either.
"Hey Max,Maxine over here" Tanaka called out to us."Were coming " I answered
we walked up to where he and Bill were waiting for us."The hooded guys said were gonna be riding dragons"Bill said enthusiastically"Dragons,to go where?"said Maxine.''No clue"Tanaka answered non-chilloutly .''You guys are gonna be with me since you seem cool"a random guy said "and who exactly are you"Max questioned "the names Connorarerapelatip,but you can call me Connor, Im gonna be your trainer from now now on''."Oh nyama nhete"Max said
"Nya-wah"Conor asked."don worry about that its just how he is ,always saying silly things like that

"what tha" Maxine and Max shouted out frightened . Who said that
"Hahaha Iook behind you and you will see me"
"JESUS CHRIST" Maxine screamed in fear of the flaring red eyes in front of her."wow cool right" Max said
"What,are you out of your mind "Maxine voiced her thoughts "Now that's not nice Im right here''
"what the,you can talk" Tanaka said.''Of course I can do you take me for one of those unintelligent creatures ''. ''Ok guys lets get going''Conor said hopping onto Garo's back.
Maxine looked back to her house and found caring glares from her family she waved them goodbye and walked a few feet backwards.She set her sights for the dragon and found her brother beside her with the same thought in mind.They started to move forward in unison ,first walking then jogging then sprinting.they started to do cart wheels then front-flips to build momentum then in a single graceful jump they both landed on the about 5m (while lying down)dragon and then then proceeded to help Bill and Tanaka up.
"Ok NEO its time to get movin " Conor said.With that everyone got onto their dragons and prepared to take off."alright Garo are you ready" "Yeah''
Max already knew what fro but asked anyway "Ready for what" just then Garo started running and almost shook the kids off his back.He then opened his wings and jumped into the air gracefully." And we're off to NEON"
