Katy's POV
I walked into Mrs. Minkus' office in the large Minkus International building located in New York City.
"Oh finally Katy dear, you've arrived. I was getting worried you wouldn't show!"
Jennifer stands up from her large desk chair, walking over to me and shaking my hand lightly.
"Oh do not worry Mrs. Minkus there was no trouble coming here at all! As soon as I heard urgency in your voice on the phone I made plans to come here immediately."
"Lovely Katy. Also, please call me Jennifer honey. Mrs. Minkus is all too professional."
"Oh okay, Jennifer. What was it you needed to see me for?"
"This may seem as a surprise to you, but the deal we made many years ago is just, not holding up you could say. Therefore, I propose a new deal."
As soon as Jennifer said 'deal' Katy's mind raced with the thoughts of the deal The Minkus family made with the Harts. The deal was that that Minkus International would give Katy's baby girl a full ride to a high end college, and Katy would pay it off as soon as she could.
"Jennifer I swear I will be paying you back as soon as I get the money-"
"And I have no doubt you would disappoint me. But now I want something else... not money."
"A-and what would that be?"
"Well, your daughter, of course."
