Chapter 3 Andy's POV
The guys and I decided to have Zelmere come up onto the stage and say some encouraging words if she wanted to and she did. Then we met her properly and her fiancée. I loved her batman ring it was so cool! The show was absolutely amazing and we have just finished packing everything up and started to walk outside when we heard a loud crash and screams but only one shriek. It sounded like a shriek of pure horror and pain. I looked at the guys and what we saw was heart breaking. Zelmere was being held back by some of the security guards as she screamed and cried.
"Derek! Oh my god! Derek babe please get out of the car!!" She was screaming. All of us had pure horror on our faces and just couldn't believe what we just saw.
Zelmeres pov
After I shrieked I started running towards his car.
"Derek! Derek please be okay!" I screamed as tears attacked my eyes. Just before I got to his car I felt two arms hold me back. I fought against them and screamed for Derek but he didn't move. He wasn't budging. I felt a pure pain coming from within my chest and I broke down crying. But I felt my adrenalin kick in and I pushed the people off of me and ran towards the car.
The door was slammed inside of the car and I tried opening it but I couldn't so I pulled with all my might and the door came off. I was horrified at the sight and I let out a wail if pain. Derek's head was on the wheel with the air bag out and his arm and leg closest to the door were broken, you could see the bone sticking out. He had blood all over him which made me cry even more. I unbuckled him and pulled him out of the car and sat down on the ground with him on my lap.
"Why you babe?" I asked out loud. "Why you?" Tears were falling on his face and I wiped them away with my hands. His nose was broken and he had a spot where you could tell his skull was broken. I knew he was dead but I couldn't believe it.
I ran my hands through his hair and softly sang to him like I always did. I kissed him on the lips and pulled him closer to my chest. That's when I heard the sirens coming closer and I looked up to see an ambulance working on the other man. They took him out and he was unconscious and all he had was a huge gash along his forehead. They put him on a stretcher and pushed him into the ambulance. I over heard the paramedics saying that he was drunk and that made me angry.
When the paramedics for the other ambulance saw me and Derek they had a look of sympathy and tried moving closer.
"Go away!" I yelled and held him closer to me.
"M'am he's dead, we have to take him." A man said to me. Nonononononononono they can't take him away from me!
"Please just let me be!" I yelled and I kissed Derek again but then I felt two sets of strong arms wrap around my arms and pull me away.
"No! Please!!" I yelled and tried to get back to Derek but the paramedics quickly put Derek in a black body bag and put him on a gurney. When the ambulance left I finally felt tired and fell to the ground onto my knees. I broke down crying and covered my face with my hands.
Andy's POV
We stood among the crowd and watched as she fought away the guards and pulled her fiancée out of the car. We watched as she cried over his dead body and how she treated him like he was still alive. Then saw how much pain she was in when the ambulance took Derek away from her.
Her sobs filled the now silent area and her body shook in pain. She was covered in his blood and what I saw made me angry and it also made the guys angry. The news teams that arrived before the ambulances recorded everything and if that wasn't enough they were recording her as well. We told our manager to get the security guards to clear out the news teams and he agreed that it wasn't right to record her.
All of us walked up to her and made a circle around her so no one could see her. Some of the security joined the circle and everybody slowly left the crowd and went to their vehicles.
When almost everybody had left we turned around and saw that she was looking down at the ground and tears were dripping into the puddle of tears and blood around her. CC went up to her and hugged her lightly but she sat there fazed like she didn't feel it. A police officer waited behind us before clearing his throat to get our attention.
"M'am, would you like a ride to the hospital?" He asked with sympathy in his voice. But she didn't move or speak. Then she got up and sat down in the car on the driver seat which was covered in blood and started sobbing again.
"Is there anything you want me to tell her sir?" I asked him.
"Yes, it was verified that the other driver was drunk at the time and that he will be taken to court soon. She can sue him for even more time in prison and for the cost of the vehicle." He said while writing things down on a notepad. "Also, she will need to make funeral plans for her fiancée and here are some numbers of therapists and doctors she can visit in case she needs them."
I say thank you and he hands me the paper which I stick in my pocket. I turned around to see that CC and Jake were helping her with unpacking her belongings in the car into a few bags. When she finished she started walking down the sidewalk and we decided to follow her from a distance to make sure she's okay.
After 1 hour of walking she went into an apartment building and we stopped. The tour bus was following behind us too and we stepped in and parked into a parking area of a abandoned building nearby. We were all worried for her.
