chapter two: the first date

Dodie:
Jungkook and I are meeting up to try out some Korean food and get to know each other better. The warm London sun complimented my mustard yellow summer dress that elegantly framed my hips, my dark hair was parted to the side. My eyes desperately searched for the handsome figure that had stolen my heart, swarms of people lining my vision. I pouted, looking down at my wristwatch. He didn't forget me did he?

"HEY BEAUTIFUL IM HERE!" A low, raspy yet comforting voice called out. Pupils dilating, I widened my eyes, seeing a huge bouquet of flowers in Jungkook's hand, smile etched across his face making him resemble a bunny. I giggled and ran to him, bringing him into my embrace. His arm dropped the flowers to the ground, his arms gripping around my waist, engulfing my body into his.

"How have you been, beautiful?" Jungkook whispered into my shoulder before releasing from our hug. His long delicate fingers adjusted his pale white face mask, moving it aside before lifting my left hand and placing a soft kiss onto my middle knuckle. A red tint flashed across my cheeks as I softly smiled in his direction. "I've been good kookie, let's get going, shall we?" I looped my hand into his.
"We shall." He answered before leading the way into one of the Korean barbecue shops.

Jungkook PoV:
"Can we have a table for two please?" I asked the tiresome waiter in Korean. He squinted his eyes before widening them, clearly realising who I was. I smiled and placed my finger to my mouth, motioning for him to be quiet. Silently, the waiter led us to a table near the window, handing us our menus before leaving us to decide.

"Hey Jungkookie, is there anything you'd recommend?" Dodie asked me, eyes flickering from me to the menu.
"Hmmmmm I think you should try samgyeopsal." I responded, watching her face contort in confusion. I lightly chuckled before taking her small hand in mine. She huffed and blew out her cheeks cutely, the immediate reaction of me being to coo over how adorable she was being. "C-can you m-maybe teach me k-Korean?" She stared deeply into my eyes.

"Of course, as long as you teach me more English, babe."
