"Please don't make me choose...I can't take this. I love you all..." He cries, his heart slowly breaking into pieces. "Carter, you've had enough time to think. It's one of us, or none of us. So who do you love?" Alex raises his voice at the other crying before him.

Carter walks into his pretty decent sized apartment, or as you could say, penthouse. Now that he's been working at the gay club and is basically the main star, he's been getting plenty of raises that helps out a lot when trying to support Ava. You'd think being a single parent to a four year old daughter would be tough, especially when it comes to money. And although he may have a lot of money compared to most parents, Ava can still be a handful from time to time.
"I don't want to go to mommy's house!" Ava cried while rolling around on the floor, kicking her feet in the air. "Why Ava? Mommy's house is really nice, remember? And you have other toys out there." Carter says softly to the young child while kneeling next to her. Although she may be a handful, she always did melt his heart somehow. "But daddy, I don't want to go. I'll miss you too much." Ava looked up to him with innocent eyes, filled with love for her father. "Ava" Carter says softly and takes the young child into his arms. "I know it's hard that mommy and daddy don't live together, but we both still love you very much. And even when you don't think I'm with you, I'll always be with you here." Carter gently pokes her chest and kisses her cheek. "I love you my little caterpillar." He stands up and takes her to her mother's house, sad to see her go but knows she'll be back soon enough.
