♡Trouble, Already?♡ {Chapter 2}

-Kaede Akamatsu's Point of View-

Slowly, I open my eyes, adjusting to the brightness as I turned my head over to a clock, hung on one of the walls in my room.

Was I seeing correctly? It was 8:20... No, that can't be right. I rubbed my eyes, hoping my eyes were only playing a trick on me. But sadly, what I saw wasn't a mistake, it really was 8:20! Oh no, I'm going to be late on my first day of school! 

Quickly, I jumped out of bed as I ran to the bathroom and took my casual musical-themed attire with me.

Zooming to the bathroom, at a rapid pace, I switched out of my comfortable pajamas and dressed in my attire. Immediately, trying not to lose as much time as possible, I brushed my teeth. Quickly, after, I brushed my hair.

"Can't forget about this." I pinned my musical shaped hairpins to hold back my bangs. Taking a long look at myself in the mirror, satisfied, I gave a nod. I saw a blonde girl looking back at me, wearing a confident grin. I liked this new look. I could do this, I could do this! Not today anxiety.

"Kaede Akamatsu, the Ultimate Pianist. Nice to meet you!" Kinda seems like a bland introduction... I'll work on it on the way to school.

Running back to my room, to gather my belongings, I shoved my phone into my backpack, heading to the kitchen where the air smelled wonderful.

"Good morning dear." "Morning Kaede." My parents smiled at me as they ate pancakes.

"Morning! So this is what's been smelling so good, huh?" I took a seat as I inhaled my mountain of pancakes as fast as possible. I've got no time to lose!

Oh no, I'm running late. As I waved goodbye to my parents, hugged them on my way out, they wished me a great day of school. 

Walking at an unusual quick speed I hurried to school.

And after what seems like forever, I finally made it Checking the time, I was relieved, I still had time before homeroom started.

Standing at the entrance, I inhaled a deep breath and exhaling my breath, I stepped inside, unsure of all the possibilities that would occur.

Walking through the main hallway, my breathing quickened, as the main building was crowded with many unfamiliar faces.

Okay okay, I arrived. If I remember correctly, I head to the Headmaster's Office first.

Taking time to search for this office, finally, I came across a door labeled 'Headmaster's Office'.

Knocking on the door and waiting for a few long-lasting seconds, a person finally came to view from the other side as the door creaked open.

It was a man with black hair and light purple eyes. He gave me a welcoming smile as he gestured for me to come inside and sit on a seat.

Taking my seat, he sat in front of me as he greeted me.

"Hello, Kaede Akamatsu and welcome to Hope's Peak Academy."

Smiling politely, I greeted him back.

Don't be intimidated.

"Thank you, Mr...?"

"Mr. Kirigiri, if you will."

Smiling, I continued. "Mr. Kirigiri, I hope to make the most of my time here at this school, and I promise I will work hard! Thank you very much for giving me this wonderful opportunity."
