Wolfy sat on the front porch, yawning. She woke up only about 20 minutes ago and had nothing to do since Josh and Tyler were asleep. A hummimg bird hovered in front of her face, and she stayed still, not wanting to startle it. The bird flew off in search of food.
She pricked her ears and turned her head to see Josh coming outside.
"Hey, Josh," Wolfy murmured
"Morning," Josh replied, sitting down nearby her
There was silence between them, only broken by the murmurs of people coming outside their houses and cars passing by.
Wolfy pulled out a pack of Oreos from the pocket of her jacket, and gave them to Josh.
"Thanks," He murmured, then opened it. "Want one?"
"No thanks," Wolfy replied quietly
She took out a small bag of Cheez-Its and began crunching on those.
A pigeon came up to them, and Wolfy gave it one of her Cheez-Its. It took it from her paw, then flying away.
