Melissa awakes in the morning to two small bodies sprawled across her feature. She glances over at her husband, Chris, to see him sleeping peacefully, his back turned to her. Melissa sighs and wiggles her way out from underneath her daughters. She successfully wiggles out without waking Amelia, Leah was a different story. The young girl was a light sleeper so just about anything would wake her.

"Mommy." The five-year-old says holding up her arms. Melissa sighs and picks up her daughter. She leaves the room and walks into the kitchen. She starts making a pot of coffee since she was up most of last night with Amelia. The young blonde complained of a stomach ache that wouldn't go away. Melissa tried every kind of at home remedy that she could think of but nothing worked.

Melissa gently set Leah down on the bar stool and walked to the freezer.

"Sweetheart, what do you want for breakfast?" Melissa asks, turning to Leah, who had laid her head on the counter.

"Waffles," Leah responded, not lifting her head off the counter. Melissa chuckled quietly before putting a waffle in the toaster.

"So, you and your sister have to come to work with me and Dad today," Melissa explains. Leah lifts her head from the counter and nods. Once the waffle finishes, Melissa puts it on a plate and covers it in syrup before giving it to Leah. The little girls start eating and Melissa grabs a cup of coffee. She checks her phone and scrolls through her social media before arms wrap around her torso. She looks down and sees her oldest.

"Hey, Amy. How are you feeling?" Melissa asks, picking Amelia off the ground. Amelia lays her head on her mother's shoulder.

"Better." Amelia simply responds. Melissa knew Amelia was obviously going to need a nap later, but she wasn't going to worry about it now.

"Morning Babe," Chris says, kissing Melissa's cheek.

"Morning," Melissa replies, putting another waffle in the toaster for Amelia. "Can you help Amy? I have to go get Leah ready." Melissa asks.

"Mel, you should probably eat too," Chris says in a stern voice.

"I will, I'll eat at set," Melissa says, picking Leah up off her chair. She walks with Leah up to her room and she goes over to the closet. Melissa grabs a pink shirt and blue jeans. She helps Leah in her clothes before taking her over to her vanity and pulls her hair into a bun.

"Alright, go down by Daddy while I get Amy ready," Melissa says. Leah listens and runs downstairs by her father. Soon after, a tired looking Amelia walks up the stairs.

"Mommy, I'm tired." She says, walking over to her mother.

"I know baby. When we get to set, you can sleep in Mommy's trailer." Melissa says. "But for now, we need to get you ready." Melissa walks to the closet and picks out a white tank top with a tiger face on the front and peach pants. Amelia gets into her outfit and Melissa brushes through Amelia's long hair.

"Alright, let's go," Melissa says, grabbing Amelia's hand. The two walk together downstairs. Melissa leads Amelia into the living room and Amelia goes to sit by her sister on the couch.

"Look at my beautiful girls," Chris says, walking into the living room. He hugs Melissa behind and kisses her on the cheek.

"Hi, daddy." Both Amelia and Leah say together. They run up to him and give him a hug.

"Alright, how about we get going so Mommy doesn't get mad at me for making us late again," Chris says. Both girls nod and begin running to the car.

"You ready?" Chris asks.

"Of course," Melissa responds, before walking to the car.
