Newt knows you can handle yourself and that you don't care about any other boy or girl like you care about Newt. But he still likes to be protective because you're his one and only.

He doesn't get that protective.
But if a Glader or anyone even looks at you like they shouldn't he will beat the fuck out of them.

This boy with rip a boy skin, flesh and bone if a Glader thinks of you in a way that they know they shouldn't.

She knows you don't like the Gladers or anyone else. But she still has her protective side.

This boy knows you care about him with every bit of your heart and you love him to death. He'll be stupid enough to even think about you being with someone else like that when you're together. He trusts you completely.

Brenda doesn't really mind if you talk to other guys or girls because they know if something goes wrong, she'll murder them without hesitating.
