2140 N.C.

"Elisabeth.....Elisabeth.....Ms.Chandler!!"
"Hmm," I say, distracted, and then I realize who is talking to me, "Oh sorry Mr.Ruiz. What were you saying?" I look to front of the lecture room where my photography professor is glaring at me.

"I asked you if you know what you are doing for your photography project" He says, slightly grumpy.

"I don't know," I tell him, shrugging.

"Please figure it out" He sighs.

"M'kay," I say, sort of out of it.

He shakes his head at me and focuses on the class and continues to lecture. The bell rings, signaling the end of class. I grab my notes and books and put them in bag and head to the exit of the class.

"Elisabeth one moment," Mr.Ruiz calls to me.

I turn and look at him, "Yes,Mr.Ruiz?"

"I just wanted to talk to you about why you've been getting distract in class lately and your newfound laziness," He says, folding his arms.

"I don't know," I tell him, shrugging, "You should know by now that I'm not the most focused person here since I have ADD."

He raises an eyebrow, "Yeah I know but still this college you need to have some focus."

"I'm aware," I sigh, "And I try to focus but sometimes I can't."

"Elisabeth," He sighs.

"What?" I ask, "I'll try my best to focus in class I swear."

"Okay. Please try your best, you're one of the best art students in this college, from what I've heard from the other teachers, and you shouldn't fail the class because of your ADD and laziness. Got it?" He growls, "Also, don't let the fact that this your last year in college cause you to slack off."

"Got it," I say with a fake smile, "Bye Mr.Ruiz, see you Thursday." I leave the class and barely hear his goodbye. I head out of the class and building where once I'm out I unlock my bike and head to my lunch spot. I weave in and out of the crowd and earn a few comments like, "Hey watch it." "Slow down." I simply blow off their comments and make it to a less crowded area where I can bike even faster. I finally make it to my lunch spot and slow down to a stop. I lean my bike against the tree and sit down, pulling out my lunch I packed earlier. I hear the chatter of the other students as they walk to their next class or getting lunch. I pull out my phone and start to scroll through notifications and other apps I have. I'm in the middle of checking on my pets in the app called DreamPets when I get a text message. I pull it up and read it,

Chris ~Hey Lis the groups going out tonite at  Lux, Wanna come? :)~

~Sure what time?~ I send back to him. He responds almost instantly.

~About 4 and we'll be out till 10~

~Sounds great, I'll be there.~ I text him back before putting my phone away and focus on my lunch.

I sit peacefully, eating my salad, for about 15 minutes before my peace is interrupted.

"Elisa," a loud female voice shouts .

"Ash," I yell at the dark brunette approaching.

"Hey girl wassup?," Ash says, her accent causing her to roll her r's and sort of miss her h's, as she sits down.

"Not much. But why must you give a new nickname everyday?" I ask her.

"Because I love annoying you," she answers.
