This is dedicated to Tamara.
It's been months since I have seen Ashton. Sometimes I just wish he wasn't famous so we could have a normal relationship, on the other hand he is living his dream so I should be proud of him. I am proud of him. I love seeing him so happy and enjoying life. I just wish he could enjoy it with me too.
I am meant to be skyping him today but he cancelled because he is doing signing. This happens a lot and I just have to put up with it. I turn on the t.v and decide to watch Bridget Jones because it seems her love life is more miserable than mine plus it's a laugh.
Just as I am half way through the film, my phone beeps. I look over to see it's a twitter notification from Ashton. I have his tweets on notification so I can keep up with what he is doing. The tweet reads:
'I wish you were with me... soon you will be'
What does that mean? I stare at this tweet for a while trying to figure out what he meant. I scroll through the comments, everyone is confused too. What did he mean by it? Was he talking about his fans? or the band? Then my phone beeps again. It's another tweet from Ashton.
'Tamara look out your window'
He is talking about me right? He can't be talking about another Tamara, I'm his girlfriend, he has to be talking about me. I get up off the couch and look out my window. There he is standing on my driveway looking up at me carrying some roses. He is here? He is suppose to be in America...
I run to the door and let him in.
"Ashton" I say in shock "you are here"
"I am here sweetie, I can't stand being without you. I am here now, everything will be okay" he gently embraces me.
I can smell the strong scent of his musky aftershave which I bought him for Christmas. For a while we just stand there taking in the moment, then Ashton draws away from the hug and looks into my eyes.
"Tammy I love you so much" he says as he starts to kiss me which makes butterflies appear in my stomach
"I love you too. Don't leave me again" a tear rolls down my cheek
"Don't cry... I am not going anywhere"
