Carter always loved his skate board. It was what he did when he wasn't doing homework. Of course because of his constant skate board riding he was a pro. Good at the kick flips, three-sixtys and rail grinds. He was an average boy. He had his fair share of girlfriends because he was blessed with good looks but he was no jock. He was just an average boy.
His current girl friend was Samantha the cheerleader. Carter saw her as exceptionally beautiful with her dirty blonde hair and ice cold blue eyes that could melt your soul. He found himself incredibly lucky.
Today on his board he was riding down the road of his quiet street. He wore all denim today like he had just stolen from a jeans factory and found nothing else.
Smantha was coming to his house to see him soon. The thought made him nervous so he just had to run his had through his dark brown hair like the nerves ran through his fingers. It was something obsessive.
He was watching the houses go by. Slowly. The really tall large ones and the really small cute ones. Then through a window he saw a small girl. She looked five years old. She was so cute. She was drawing on the window with a red crayon. This made him laugh. The little girl waved at him.
He was going to wave back but he jolted. The wheel of the board had hit a rock makinging him fly off. He saw everything and he fully intended on landing on all fours but he saw his phone fall out. It landed before him. Right I front of his eyes.
Then as his head hit the ground in a dangerous impact the phone buzzed the screen lighting up. He saw the message flash.
Hi.
Before he closed his eyes and was knocked out.

::Carter's mom was a worried so when her son didn't pick up his phone on the first call she went looking for him. It didn't take her long to find him. He was only two blocks away anyway.
She took him into her car. She had told him skate boards are dangerous but Carter never listened. He was a brick head, she thought and laughed as she drove to the hospital.
She knew it was nothing serious of course but she worried anyway. They fixed up his head and when she woke up she had the urge to say I told you so. But no. She smiled and asked him how he was feeling. A while laster Carter's father came and he indeed said mom told you so. They laughed about it. Then his sister came and laughed in his face about having a bandage tied to his head.
The doctor said it was minor. I little unoticable scar was in the side of his head covered by his hair so he could remove the bandage in two days minimum. He'd be fine to got to School but Carter's mom knew he wouldn't want to if he still had the bandage on. Stubborn kid.
They went home the next morning and his brain twitched. The message. He hadn't even thought about Samantha. It was kind of a stupid move. He would realise later when Sam shouted at him for not calling.
He laid on his bed and put his phone in his hands. There it was. The message. Simple. Percise with a full stop at the end. This made him a bit antsy.
Hi. The unknown number had said.
Temptation to answer was consuming him and unfortunately his fringe collided with the screen and there he was typing.
