Ch.1 Our Mates

I was at the mall hanging with Nina and Kiersten at the mall. They were my only family since my sister died from cancer, mom died in a car wreck, dad got shot, and my two brothers were murdered.

I was alone at night. I had no family. At least not in this town. I feel like I was the reason they died. Nina and Kiersten were the only one there for me.

I had a ritual I had to do with them. You cut your self and put the blood into a container and your letting go of all the bad things in the past to make room for the future.

"Hey you ok?" Nina said. She has blond hair, was cut like Andy's hair before he cut it, she has brown eyes, and pretty much always wears black. She was really pretty."Yeah I'm fine." I replied.

She nods and she understood. What was I supposed to do? "Hey did you know Black Veil Brides is coming to the mall?" Kiersten said.

I stared at her and said"How did you know that?" "What? I love them! You guys do too!" Me and Nina laugh and we said"We know"

Kiersten has blonde hair with blue eyes and she wears a lot of tight shirts and shorts like in Hawaii. Which was pretty much her style.

I have brown hair with sun dye toward the bottom, I wear purple glasses, I wear beanies, I wear only converses and jean. Im basically a Rocker chick/Tom-boy.

All of a sudden a lot of people start running to Black Veil Brides. I get up and walk the opposite direction so I wouldn't get caught in the crowd. I look toward them and walk away.

I walked to the other side of the mall which was like a ghost town. It was cold. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I jumped, turned around, and stepped back.

Omg! It was Jake from Black Veil Brides."Hey. Are you Hennessy?" I stepped back and say"Yes. I'm Hennessy."

He stepped forward and put both of his hands around my waist. He leaned closer and closer but I gently push him away and say"I'm sorry I don't really know you"

I turned around and ran. Track helped me a lot with running. I was far away from him and all of a sudden he's in front me hanging off a sign.

I tried to step back but I fell backwards. I rubbed my head and whispered"Ow!!" "Are you alright?" He said kissing my head.

I crawl back getting away but then I saw his neck. I went closer and push his hair out of the way and saw my name."What's this?" "It was a birthmark I never knew what it meant until my mom told me I was a demon and that you were my mate."

I looked at him like he was crazy but I knew he was telling the truth."This is crazy. I can't believe this." I said having a hard time not stuttering.

He put his finger over my lips and said"Look I know it's crazy." He looked down and removed his finger."It ok. Yes it might be crazy but I believe you."

We get up and walk back to where my friends were sitting with their mates. Nina was mates with Andy. And kiersten was mate with Ashley.

Me and Jake weren't really a couple. I wanna get to know him better before we go out. I mean I love the Black Veil Brides but I wanna get to know him better first.
