Ch.2 The Problem

I was walking home and I was alone. Jake popped up out of nowhere."Jeez! Don't scare me like that. You almost gave me a heart-attack." I said walking away.

"Hey how would you like to go to a movie with me?" I think about it and say"Sure why not. But we have to have Nina and Andy too ok?" He nodded.

I pulled out my phone and call Nina (Nina-N)

N- Hello?

Me- Hey

Nina- Oh hey

Me- Would you and Andy like to go to the movies with me and Jake

Nina- Umm sure

Me- Ok see ya tomorrow

I hung up and pecked Jake on the cheek and said"I'll go to the movies with you. See ya tomorrow." I walked off.

He came up behind me, picked me up, spun me around, and kissed me on the cheek. I laughed when he put me down.

"Bye Hennessy! I love you!" He said waving and running off. I waved back and whisper "I love you too." And walk off toward my house.

THE NEXT DAY

I was walking to school with my headphones in listening to "In The End by Black Veil Brides" I made it to the school and when I went inside Jack nearly scared me to dead.

I pulled out a earbud"Your sick Jack" he gets mad and pushes me making me fall to the ground. He gets on top of me and starts punching me.

Nina, Andy, Kiersten, Ashley, and Jake get him off of me and Jack helps me up. He helps me to the nurses office.

The nurse said"Well sweetie your bleeding and bruised. But you'll be just fine. I'll tell the principal......."

I interrupt and say"No do tell the principle." "I'm gonna go tell......." "No really I'll be fine. I have friends to help me." She nods and sits down in her desk.

I walked out of the nurses office and saw Jake sitting in the chair with worry in his eyes."Don't worry about me Jake. I'll be fine."

"Really!?! You'll be fine getting hurt and not doing anything about it?!?" He yelled at me. "Well, if you excuse me I gotta get to class."

As I walk away Jake says"Wait..." I stop "...I didn't mean to yell. It just that why did you just let it happen and not tell the principal?"

"Sometimes you just gotta face the problem alone." I started walking away and a tear slipped out of my eyes.

I was in pain but not by the punching but by disbelief, disrespect, and no trust. Why can't he just let me do what I think is right?

Besides I'm not a snitch and jack will still just beat me up for getting him in trouble. Beside I can't feel physical pain anymore.

Not after what happened when I was a kid. How I got hit with a car. My mom and dad didn't make it to the hospital.

They got in a wreck with me in the car. My mom was the only one that died. And my dad got me out of the car and got into the ambulance with me.

LATER THAT DAY

I was at home in the shower thinking about what's gonna happen at the movies tonight. There was a knock at the door.

I got dressed and opened the door to Jake."Oh hey." "Hennessy look I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier." "It's ok"

He came in I closed the door and went upstairs and brushed my hair. I was fixing my bangs that swoop a little bit over my eyes.

I put my beanie on and just stared into the mirror, leaning on the counter. I felt Jakes hands going around my waist and kissing my neck.

"Stop Jake." I said. He kept doing it."Jake stop!" I turn around and push him off of me. I tried to walk passed him but he kept me in my room with the door locked.

"What's wrong with you!?! Jake stop this madness please." He shakes his head and traps me in the corner. He leans closer and I ducked.

I turn toward the corner and he grabs me by my hair. And then picks me up by my waist and throws me on my bed.

He gets on top and kissed my neck holding my hands down and uses his legs to keep mine down. I break free from his grip and push him off.

Then I knew that he wasn't Jake It was Jack dressed as Jake."Jake!?! What the hell!?!" I unlock the door and run toward the front door and run out.

I tripped and fell into Jakes arms. He saw I was panicking and scared."What happened?" I stuttered saying"J....J..... Ja..ck"

"What about Jack." He set me down and I said"he tried to rape me." He gave me big eyes that turned red.

He sped up the stairs and brought him down. He pushed him to the ground, I locked the door, and Jake took my hand and pulled me with him to the car. He closed the door and started driving.

We made it to the movies and we went inside and caught up with Nina and Andy."What movie are we watching?"

"We are watching The Purge 2. We heard it was pretty good." Andy said. I nod and held Jakes hand. I looked at him and smiled.

We walked to our seats. Whoever told Andy this was a awesome movie was right. It is an awesome movie.

I looked over and saw Nina leaning her head and Andy's shoulder. I held his hand, kissed his cheek, and then leaned my head on his shoulder.

AFTER THE MOVIE

Me and Jake are in front of the building and holding hands."I had a great time with you Hennessy." "Me too. I better get going" "I'll drive you home."

He drives me home and walks inside with me. He wants to spend the night and make sure that no one breaks in. You know I can get used to being with a demon for awhile.
