As I walked through the massive school gates, I could instantly tell how rich the school was. There were numerous floors and the building's architecture was perfect. The gates were enormous with golden spikes atop black poles. It was a real masterpiece.
Walking slowly so I could admire the scenery, I could feel eyes following me.
People were quite obviously staring at me and it was making me nervous.
Not gonna lie, I kind wanted to run away to a safe place because I hate the feeling of being socially unaccepted.
Nonetheless, I carried on walking without even glancing their way, I was really excited for today and I'm not about to let a few stares ruin anything. Never.
Soon, the bell rang signalling the beginning of the school day and students all around me scurried away to their classes like bugs.
I had to go to the office to collect my timetable since I had no idea where I was supposed to go.
I didn't exactly know where it was so I tried to ask for help......... Well I tried but ultimately gave up since I was to shy to actually talk to anyone.
So I had to resort to plan B. Which was... wandering around this colossal building until I found the sign which pointed to the office.
After a while of walking and going up sooooo many stairs-which I soon found out was futile since the office was on the first floor- I finally found it.
I walked in and was greeted with the warm smiley face of the receptionist. She seemed to radiate kindness which made me a lot less nervous.
"Hi I'm Sienna... I just transfered here and I was wandering if I could get my timetable.... Please. " I awkwardly said since I'm not that great with people.
"Of course you can honey. Just wait a minute" the receptionist smiled broadly at me before tapping her keyboard a few times and printing out my timetable. "Here you go sienna and I hope you feel welcome to come here if you have any problems. " I smiled and thanked here before turning on my heel and walking to my first class.
English.
I don't mind English. I mean I definitely don't hate it as much as maths. No chance. Maths is the worst.
My class was on the third floor... So more stairs, great.
As soon as I walked in, all eyes were on me. I really creeped me out so I looked at the teacher who told me to sit down.
The only free seat was towards the back and next to the window. Perfect. The heavens must be smiling on me because that is the best seat in any class and its mine now. So far everything was going great.
I was listening at first, occasionally scribbling down notes. But softer awhile I zoned out and started looking out of the window.
When the bell rang, I started to pack away my things into my bag but I soon realised that some people were already in front of my desk.
