Sage's POV
Today, a Japanese company reached out to collaborate with our company on our next project, so I was busy attending the meeting completely forgetting about Kyle. He waited patiently for me, because he was an old friend of mine. We used to be quite close in high school. I was forty-five minutes late for our meeting.
As I opened the door to my office I saw him seated comfortably on the guest chair. He was clean shaven, with his hair all combed neatly. He was dressed in an expensive black suit.
"You're so late pal." He grinned.
"I know, you know I'm a busy man right?" I replied.
"Yeah, yeah Mr. Sage Brooks is the busiest man on this planet."
"Kyle, already stop with the immature behavior. I request you. Please."
"Okay, okay, just don't be too hard on yourself okay?"
"Yeah, okay." I rolled my eyes said and sat on my chair.
"So, what have you called me for?" He raised an eyebrow.
"I want you to get all the information as possible about a girl."
"A girl? Like the daughter of some rival of your company?"
"No, it's personal matter."
"Oh, so what's 'personal' about this girl?"
"That's not something you need to worry about." I started becoming irritated now; he's always been an annoying man. But, he's so good at his work that I can do nothing but tolerate his annoyance.
"I was just trying to lighten up the mood! Duh, whatever, who is the girl?"
"She is a high school student in Ravenwood High School, in Tennessee. She has beautiful long chestnut brown hair, captivating green eyes, slim built, and I think she's about 5'7"." I said looking into nothingness with her image carved on my heart as he wrote it down on his notepad.
"Does that 'girl' even have a name?"
"Of course she has. I just don't know her name."
