Ship Names?

  Maya just walked inside Topanga's bakery and spotted her best friend Riley sitting at a table reading something on her laptop intensely.

  Maya - "Reading more fan fiction sweetie?"

  Riley looked up a bit startled. "Oh, hey Peaches. You scared me."

  Maya - "Sorry Riles."

  Riley - "It's ok. Yea one of the writers I follow NurseZ1997, instead of writing a story today she kind she wrote a little rant and got a few things off of her chest about other writers."

  Maya looked a little confused. "Rants? Got a few things of her chest? You guys are fan fiction writers and readers. What do you have to rant about?"

  Riley - "Ok well you know our favorite show Girl Meets World and the main characters Rowan and Sabrina?"

  Maya - "Yea the show that is eerily like our very own lives? Of course."

  Riley - "Well a lot of people ship Rowbrina, including NurseZ1997. But she went off on a rant today telling some Rowbrina fan fiction writers to stop writing certain things. Like a lot of people write their stories with Peyton being the complete jerk, and they write him in just horribly. It's one of the things NureseZ told them to stop doing. Another thing is obviously most of the people who ship Rowbrina are either gay or lesbian, and a lot of them write in the majority of straight characters as homophobic jerks. She also told them to stop doing that. She said you're not showing straight people as this hateful group of people, kust showing how stupid and hateful you are."

  Maya does not look enthused on the situation unlike her best friend. "Wow...Interesting."

  Riley - "It's not the rant itself that is so interesting, it's the comments that people are making about it. A lot are totally agreeing with her and a lot are completely mad about what she said."

  Maya is truly trying to pay attention but it's not working. So instead of changing the subject altogether she changes it just a little hoping Riley doesn't figure it out. "So ship names huh? How does that exactly work?"

  Riley - "Most of the time it's half of each person's name. Like Rowbrina, Row from Rowan and brina from Sabrina."

  Maya - "Ok so letme see if I got this right. So if we were a thing, we would be....." Maya is thinking hard. "Rilaya then right? Ril from Riley and aya from Maya."

  Riley smiles wide. "Yes! Very good Peaches. Rilaya I like it! Or a ship name can be the first letter of one person's can and all of the other person's name."

  Maya - "So like you and Lucas would be Rucas?...Or Liley?"

  Riley - "Correct again Maya. Or another one could be...Oh I don't know, maybe Markle?"

  Maya - "Markle?" Maya's eyes go wide as she realized what what her best friend just did. "Did you just do a ship name with me and Farkle?"

  Riley - "I did." Riley smiles triumphantly.

  Maya is flabbergasted. "But why would you do that?! What on earth would make you ever do that?! Why?! Why?! Why?!"

  Riley - "Wow calm down dawn Maya, you're gonna give yourself a heart attack. Look Peaches, we tell each other everything. But just because you finally decide to keep something to yourself doesn't mean I haven't caught on." Riley explains.

  Maya doesn't calm down at all. "Caught on?! Caught on to what?! There isn't anything to catch on to?! Caught on to what?!" Maya asks again.

  Riley - Peaches, you like Farkle." Riley says matter of factly with one eye brow raised looking at her friend.

  Maya looks at her shockingly. "What?! Why would you say such a thing?! Why?!...Why?!...Why?!" Maya kept repeating.

  Riley - Maya, I see the way you look at Zay and Smackle. I know you want what they have. I also see the way you look at me and Lucas, and I know you want what we have. I also know you want what we all have, with Farkle, because I see the way you look at him."

  Maya opens her mouth like she was gonna say something but then just lets it close, almost defeated like. after a few moments. "Ok fine. I like Farkle. But it's not like anything is ever gonna come from it."

  This confuses Riley. "And why wouldn't it? Why wouldn't you let it Maya? Farkle has always loved you. And he would never hurt or leave you."

  Maya - "First of all, he's always loved US. Second of all, there's been Smackle since then and a few different dates since their break up. What if he ever really truly did, whatever he did feel for me?..is long gone." Maya says with a sad frown.

  ???? - "Hahahaha, that's a good one Hart."

  Maya jumps from being startled from the voice behind her. She's not to happy to see it's Smackle when she turns around. "Great! Someone else who now knows." She thinks to herself, but it doesn't end there. Her eyes continue to follow the other people that are with Smackle. Zay, Lucas, and of course Farkle. "Oh no." She again thinks to herself.

  Farkle walks up to Maya. "Hey Maya." He smiles at her.

  Maya - "Ah h-hey Farkle." She nervously mutters. "Sorry I gotta go." Maya says and turns to try and run out. But Farkle gently grabs her wrist. She turns back around to look at him.

  Farkle - "Hey. Wherever it is you have to be, I'm sure I have to be there too. So why don't I go with you?" He asks and adds a little wink. Maya blushes and a smile creeps across her face.

  Maya - "Ok, I'd like that very much Farkle."

  So the two walked hand in hand out of Topanga's. All ther friends smiled at each other and hoped they finally get this all taken care of.
