1: I missed you

I woke up to the sound of my phone going off. It was a text from Jc. He says good morning every day so it was no surprise. I mean, that's just what best friends do, right?

"Good morning, sunshine. How are ya?" I smiled, just like always. His text are so sweet.

"Good morning. I'm good, except someone just woke me up." I got up and went to the kitchen to make some breakfast.

"Oh well, it was time to wake up anyways!" I didn't even realize what time it was. Wow, 9:30, he was right.

"True, true. What have you been up to?" This is normally how most of our conversations start off.

"Just chillin" I then hear my doorbell, so I go check to see who it is, but I'm not tall enough to see through my peephole so I just open the door. "heyyyyy!" to my surprise it's Jc. He gives me a big hug and spins me around. "what are you doing here?" I ask, still surprised. "I came to see you, are you not happy?" he looked kind of disappointed. "Of course I'm happy to see you. A little jealous, actually. I was going to surprise you next week. I'm moving to Cali!" I say smiling. "I know, a little birdie told me" he laughs. "Damn it, did a little birdie tell you anything else?". "No?" he sounds confused.

"Well, ya see, I was going to ask if I could stay with you for a little when I first get to LA." I'm really hoping he says yes. He smiles "of course! I would love that. I'm going to go back to LA when you go, to make it easier on both you and I." He laughs and I start to smile. " Great! Well, I better start packing." I say. "I'll help!" Jc replies eagerly

"By the way, I missed you." He says with a smile. "I missed you too" I give him a kiss on the cheek and run to my room to start packing.
