*JC'S POV*

Chey thinks the night is over, but it's only just begun. This is going to be the best date she's ever had and I hope she remembers it for the rest of her life. We finish dinner and it's time to pay.

"Let me pay for myself" Chey says shyly.

"No, baby. Let me pay. I want this to be the best date you ever had" I smile at her.

"It already has been" she returns my smile.

"Well, it only gets better" I bite my lip and her eyes widen.

"It's not over?" she replies. I shake my head and pay, pulling her out of the restaurant to the car. I then open the door and peck her on the lips. I motion for her to get into the car and smile "My lady".

*CHEY'S POV*

I thought the night was over, but he said it had just begun. What else could he have planned? He really is such a good boyfriend. It seems like this is moving fast, but I've liked him for so long. We've been best friends forever. It's so easy to be around JC, and now that I don't have to hide my feelings it's even easier. We sit in silence on the way to the next place, but it's not an awkward silence, it's peaceful. I look over to JC and I guess I had been looking longer than I thought because he glanced over at me and chuckled.

"What are you staring at?" he sounded so cute when he laughed.

"I didn't even know I was staring" I could feel myself blushing. He reached over and grabbed my hand. It comforted me, even though I didn't need any comforting. About 30 minutes later we pulled up to a big field with some hills. JC gets out the car and jogs around to my side, then opens my door.

"Baby, it's cold" I complain. He laughs and goes to his trunk.

"Here, put these on under your dress" He tosses a pair of his sweat pants at me.

"What about a t-shirt? This dresses is getting uncomfortable" I smile at him and he tosses me one of his t-shirts. "Why do you have all these clothes in your trunk?" I ask as I slide the sweat pants on and have him unzip my dress.

"Just incase I end up going somewhere and staying the night there. Like when I go to a friends party." he replies taking off his shirt also changing. I can't help but stare at him. He's so attractive and even though i've seen him with his shirt off tons of times, I can't help it. He just laughs. "You going to put your shirt on?"

"Will you cover me while I change it?" I blush.

"Of course baby girl" he smiles and covers me. I like our bodies this close. I like being near him. I like his hugs. When i get it on he tries to walk away but I wrap my arms around his neck.

"I'm still cold, warm me up" I beg.

He smiles down at me "Can't I put on some pants?" he laughs.

"Ugh, I guess" I reply playfully and kiss him on the cheek. He puts on some pajama pants, and he even looks cute like that. No matter what he's good looking. I wonder why he chose me.

He laughs "Because you're perfect" he comes back over and hugs me.

"Did I say that out loud?" I start blushing.

"Sure did" he kisses my forehead "now, follow me" he starts walking towards the biggest hill and I run up and jump on his back.

"JC, I'm too lazy to walk. Carry me there?" I whine.

He smiles and grabs my legs so he's supporting me up "Of course". He starts running and when we get to the top of the hill I see a picnic blanket and a basket.

"What is this?" I smile widely.

"Dessert" He sets me down on the blanket and lays down next to me.

"How did you even do this?" I ask in awe.

"While we were at dinner, the boys were setting this up for us" he kisses me and I feel so loved. I always wondered what it would be like to kiss Jc and now knowing what it feels like, I wish I had done it sooner. So much passion, and I feel so many fireworks. He looks at the sky and says quietly "Look at the stars" he points up.

I look up and they're absolutely beautiful. This is amazing. I've always wanted to just laying in a field and stare at the stars. I look over at JC to see he's looking at me, smiling.

"This is perfect" I know I'm smiling uncontrollably, but I don't care. Jc makes every problem in the world seem to go away. "I'm so glad I came to California"

"So am I" he replies. We end up eating dessert that had been in the basket, and talking even more. It seems like we never run out of things to talk about.

When the night is over, we pull in the driveway and walk into the house. Jc goes to the room and I stay in the kitchen to get something to drink, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much and I'm biting my lip trying to make myself stop.

"AHH! TELL US ABOUT IT!" A loud Makayla yells. I didn't know she was still here. I look up to see her and Connor standing next to each other. oh my god, they would be the cutest couple ever.

"Calm down, girl" I laugh.

"Okay, okay. How was it?" she replies, smiling.

"Amazing" I squeal and tell them about the whole date.

"And now we're home" I look behind me to see Jc standing there. He wraps his arms around me from behind. "What's going on with you two?" Jc asks motioning to Connor and Makayla.

"Yeah, what's going on here?" I reiterate Jc's question and wink at Makayla.

"Well, back when I lived in Minnesota me and Connor went to High School together and we were best friends. We ended up losing contact until today, and we caught up. I missed him and we decided we were going to go out for breakfast tomorrow." Makayla answers. I secretly ship them. I know they like each other, you can tell by how they look at one another.

"Well, we better let you two go to bed then" Jc smiles and pulls me into his room. "Want to watch a movie before bed?"

"Sure, what movie?"

"Your favorite movie" he says going to Grease on Netflix.

"YESS" I kiss him. We end up half way through Grease before I start falling asleep. Jc leaves the tv on but mutes it, since I'm kind of afraid of the dark.

"Good night, princess" Jc whispers and kisses my head.

"Good night" I reply and drift off to sleep.
