rant one | dna was not a flop
I don't think DNA was a flop.
However, I admit that it was far from one the best songs that BTS has ever produced. Not saying that it was bad, but compared to other songs, it just didn't seem as meaningful.
What I don't get it is how some people openly bash the song, simply because it gained huge popularity. It's a song that topped charts, broke records, brought awareness to BTS, landed on Billboard's 100 Best Songs of 2017, and is currently at a whopping 424+ million views and 5.8+ million likes on YouTube (as of when I'm writing this) even though it was released on September 18th, 2017.
Whether you like it or not, DNA was DEFINITELY not a flop.
It might not be their best song.
It might be overrated and overplayed.
But guess what?
It still holds a spot in my playlist...
and I'm proud of it.
