Major in mm

6:45 amMy phone's alarm rung followed by a holographic picture of Ma telling me to get up and get ready for school.
I groaned as I sat up from the comfortable bed, grabbing my phone from my nightstand.
With the irritating message turned off, I made my way to the bathroom.
The room greeted me nicely as I stepped into the bathroom and began brushing my teeth.
After spitting out the access toothpaste and washing my face, I flashed myself a sly smile before heading back into my room.
I went straight into my closet, picking out what I would wear.
I had just finished sliding on my pants when I heard Ma enter my room.
"You up, Major?" She asked.
"Yeah, ma." I answered, shuffling out of the closet with my shoes in hand.
"Well hurry up and come eat breakfast." She replied before leaving my room.
I hurried to put on my shoes and lace them up before grabbing my phone and keys and sprinting down the steps.
I headed into the kitchen and saw Ma fidgeting with the stove as always.
"Mama, all you have to do is press this button and the machine handles the rest." I stated, coming behind her and pressing the button for her.
"Get off me, boy. I know what I'm doing." She said as she pushed me off of her.
"Whatever you say, ma." I shrugged.
"Sup, Zari." I nodded, walking into the dining room.
"Sup." She replied before turning her attention back to her phone.
"Mom, where's breakfast? I'm starving." I groaned.
"Who are you talking to? Boy, I literally pushed you out my-" She started.
"I get it, ma." I cringed.
"No, you don't get it. I do everything I can for you and you ion even understand." She continued to shout.
"Don't worry, momma. I appreciate you." Zari grinned.
"Thanks, sweetie." She smiled.
"Kiss ass." I grumbled.
"Major, stop cussing in my house." She scolded.
"Okay." I shrugged before taking a seat at the table.
Not to long after, Mom sat a plate of bacon, eggs, and toast in front of me and Zari.
"Mom?" Zari spoke through her mouth of eggs and bacon.
