"Damnit, Commander!" The white man shouted at the other. "It's been three fucking years. Where is the progress!?" He slammed his hands down on the table. The men sitting besides him shrunk back immediately.

The man in question, Commander, sat up in his chair and cleared his throat. "Sir, to be frank the subject has the most complex biological system our scientists have ever seen. It's nearly impossible-"

"Commander, I'm not paying you or your crack-doctor scientists just to hear that this multi-million dollar experiment is impossible!" The man at the front of the table interrupted. He sighed, taking a moment to fix his tie. "You have another year to make an army of hybrids." The man stood abruptly.

"Whether or not you succeed, our plans will not be halted." He left the room with his token security following after him. Commander stood up once the man was gone. "Get the subject ready for testing." The other white men in the room scurried to fulfill the order.

1 year later

The slide of the glass door told me someone had entered the room. In my sleep state, I couldn't turn to see who it was.

"Release hyper-sleep." From the voice, I knew it was commander. I sat up slowly as I regained my sense of movement.

"Morning, Commander." He replied with a nod. "Get dressed." He pointed to the fresh pile of clothes on the bedside table. "You start training in five." He spoke before he left.

Training? Was this different from the daily tests or had they just given them a different name?

I shook my head and began changing into the new pair of clothes. I was bound to get reprimanded if they knew I was thinking on my own.

Once changed, I stood by the front door and waited for my escort to arrive. Five minutes passed and I was confused. They usually never let me walk the facility alone.

"Incoming message from Commander." A voice in the back of my head spoke. At my surprise, I managed to not jump at the computer-like voice.

"Subject, report to training room on floor A. No escort required." Commander's voice informed. I managed to nod, even though I knew the man was not in the room.

I stepped towards the glass and surely it opened. I was again confused once I stepped out of the room. They usually blindfolded me so that I wouldn't remember the route. How was I-

I began moving down the hall. I guess they figured a way for me to know the directions without need for my conscious self knowing.

I stopped in front of a door. Assuming I was here, I went to knock but the door opened instead.

"I see the new program is functioning." One of the doctors commented as I walked further into the room. "Sit down. The doctors want to run a few tests before we begin." Commander stated.

I nodded at the instruction and went to lay upon the bench that was in the middle of the room. It was about 30 minutes until the doctors finished their poking and prodding.

The three doctors left, leaving only me and commander. I got off the bench, which soon retracted into the floor, and stood there, awaiting my order.

"Your first mission is to immobilize and capture the two civilians." He came closer and grabbed my hand. He gave me four small devices and two bracelets before stepping back.
