I was walking around alone; Nico and author still sleeping. I had discovered that we were in a beautiful place,

It had rushing water streams, lavender scented flowers, a spread out forest, and a dark gray sky that indicated that we will mostly get a storm.

I never really liked the sound of thunder, my mother found this as a particular weakness. So she would put me in a room with her and every time I jumped of fright, my mother would hit me with a staff that she carried around.

I remember when meliodas wanted to hangout and play outside with me, but I had to decline because my mother was putting me in the room she would beat me.

I knew I just couldn't say that to him though. So I said I just couldn't play today.

He knew something was up... So he decided to go to the window of all the rooms and look for me when he found me, a large of thunder hit; I jumped.

Meliodas had to watch me get hit because I showed weakness. He started to act different as he saw me
Lose all emotion.

Lightning struck.

The rattle of sound came closer as the sound got louder.

I was now sitting on the rage of a cliff. Only a few feet infrount of the tavern. Meliodas stepped outside.

"(Y/n)...?"

" over here, Mel "

He came and sat next to me. Our feet dangled off the cliff. We both sit in a comfortable silence, looking out at the sky, droplets of rain get on us; we didn't care.

Light flashed and a loud sound boomed in are ears.

Meliodas put his hand over mine, I slightly jumped, surprised by his actions.

"Im sorry she did that to you.."

I was silent not wanting to show emotions, to show fear. I bit my lip. Meliodas of course new why I didn't respond.

" its okay, (y/n). Its just me."

He wrapped his arm around my waist, I truly didn't know what to do so I leaned my head on his shoulder. As a response he kissed me on the temple.

We continue to stare at the dark sky, my heart fluttering like crazy. The rain still drizzling on us as we share this memory.
