Yoongi stumbles over his feet as he races past the foliage. Wild eyes and heavy footsteps heave through the woods. His hair whipping around behind him trying to keep up with his wavering steps. Branches leap out and reach for him leaving puffy scratches and blackened bruises.  Sweat wraps around his neck only allowing little pants to leave his lips.

He has to get away.

The frightened boy can't hear the chanting anymore. He hasn't heard it for a while but he can still hear the screams of his home being stripped away of what it once was. He still remembers the black hooded figures above the hill surrounded by rings of fire. The loud chanting boomed throughout the village and raised hell in what he once peacefully lived in.

Witches.

The devil's children skipped happily dressed in the fires of hell around the streets of his town. They cackled at the buildings falling to pieces along with the ear-splitting screams that followed not long after.

The pulsing amulet thudding across his chest glows a faint red as it leads him across the forest floor. Whispers of directions echoes in his ears and bounces off his head, making Yoongi blindly follow.

Yoongi's steps slowed as he felt his last breath stolen away from him. Trembling fingers claw at his throat trying to rip it open to try to find more air. His crazed dark eyes withered away and slowly rolled in the back of his head. His willpower taking its last shuttering breath as the stilled boy finally crumpled into pieces.

Jimin dances to the soft song he's humming along to as he sets out to pick some berries. His light silvery hair covered by a halo of butterflies hovering over his head. His robe sways against his legs as he skips off into the thick forest. Behind him, he leaves little trails of wildflowers every tiny step he takes. As his toes sink into the ground, he can feel the power of earth resonate within him.

Hungry little bunnies follow behind him as they munch on his trail of flowers. His giggle echoes throughout the dense forest as they weave through his legs. The berries he collected so far have been stored away into his delicately woven wicker basket that's draped along his arm.

Jimin's dark eyes land onto the hesitant deer as it strolls out of the shadows behind the trees. He softly smiles and slowly reaches for his basket. His cupped hand is filled with some berries as he reaches out towards the deer. It sniffs his fingertips softly as it slowly eats the berries off his hand. His free hand gently smoothing down its ruffled fur, "Hello little one, you're hungry aren't you."

The small deer glared at him challenging him into a staring match. He could sense the young deer was looking for something in him but he couldn't figure out what. They stayed like that for awhile just staring at each other until something in the deer's eyes changed as it's dark orbs glazed over. Its ears perked up as it gently nudged him over to a pile of bushes. Jimin didn't know where the deer was directing him to but he didn't think too much about it as he took light steps to the right.

The little bunnies scurried off as the deer led Jimin deeper into the forest. They long since have strayed off the path making Jimin wary of his surroundings. He didn't want to have another run-in with the pixies again.

It wasn't until his friend stopped it's nudging, did he start to panic.

A boy, cut and bruised, laid still on the ground; ivy slowly constricting him and pulling him further into the inky woods. His pale skin looks sunken in and his ebony hair is in knots. Jimin's eye catches a gold chain necklace with a quivering red amulet laced with a gold frame around it tucked underneath his shirt.

Instantly, Jimin springs into action and kneels down to the ground. Flicking his wrist, the boy was cut loose from the choking hold of the ivy. Jimin quickly checks for an alive pulse eventually feeling the strong rhythm around his neck.

Jimin stands back onto his feet and raises his hands over the unconscious boy. He closes his eyes and concentrates on the power flowing through the earth and echoing within him. Jimin focuses on his intentions and wills it to happen, whispering the chants he's remembered so long ago.

He carefully opens his eyes and glances at the unconscious man who is now suspended in the air by the ivy branches that were once pining him down. Jimin lets out a slow exhale and looks over his shoulder half expecting his friend behind him but the spotted deer has vanished.

The witches puzzling gaze switches back to the man and gently guides him back to his cottage.

Jimin has met lost strangers in his woods all the time. They're usually always human and he's always led them back on their way but he's never came across an unconscious, injured man laying in the darkest part of the forest.

At first, Jimin thought he may have met the goblins already but no goblin would have missed the chance to steal that necklace.

A shudder ran down his spine as he stole a glance at the cuts on the humans face. Maybe it was something way worse than any of the creatures in the forest.
