Edward ran towards the castle and through the halls to Anastasia's room. He knocked quietly on the door, barely out of breath.
"My Queen?" He asked.
"C-Come in." She sniffled in response. He opened the door slowly. "Everything alright?"
Anastasia was sitting on the other side of the bed, wiping away tears as mascara ran down her face. "Yes, Edward, I'm okay.. Things are just.. Complicated."Edward sat down next to her.
"What's going on? Do I HAVE to kill someone?"
"No!!" She giggled. "It's just.."
"..?"
"I'm coming of age where I need to start looking for a husband.." She said sadly, brushing her galaxy hair behind her ear.
"...How old are you again?"
"15. I-It's kinda stupid to cry about.."
"Oh.."
"Crazy, right?!"
"Who came up with this rule? Like. what?"
"No idea.. I'm just scared. I want to be able to find love on my own, not be forced into it.""I agree-"
"But rules are rules, and I need to be responsible for my people."
"What? That's just borderline insanity, my queen, no offense." Edward snapped, standing up on the bed and dramatically putting his fists on his waists, popping his hip to the side.
"I-" Anastasia spoke, thinking to continue but shutting her mouth to wipe her tears from her eyes.
"I understand, my queen. I'll leave you be." Edward sighed, leaving the room.
Anastasia smiled, her heart fluttering. She wish she could hide her lo- er- respect for the Guardian of the Galaxy.
