{Chapter 4}
Welcome Back to Hogwarts

To say when Effie was happy when she saw the Hogwarts Express would be the understatement of the year. She was so glad to get away from the awkwardness that had been present at her house and go back to the place she knew almost as well as her own home. She longed to be on the train with her friends and get ready for the exciting year ahead. Yet before she could hop on board the ride to her dream land she had to say goodbye to her mum and dad.

Turning away from the gleaming scarlet train and towards her parents a smile arose on her face. She loved her parents so much and could tell by there faces that they were sad to see there kids leave. Each of the three siblings gave each there mom and dad a hug and kiss. Effie couldn't help but notice how John hugged their mother extra long, he had always been a momma's boy. She could only imagine how he felt going into his last year of school. It was to close for Effie and she knew how stressed her brother was just from the look on his face. Well either he was stressed or he or had to go poo (or maybe both).

After a quick goodbye to her parents and whispers of encouragement from her mom Effie left her family to patrol the train to find one of her friends. Either Lee, Alex, or Cedric the three being closest to her out of their larger group of friends. Slumping through the hallway of the train Effie was ready to just go into the first empty cabin after realizing that it wasn't likely she would find any of her friends anytime soon. She was about to give up when she saw her bestie Lee sitting with Fred and George the two brothers she had only recently officially met. How she had never talked to them before the World Cup surprised her. She was friends with their friend, Lee, and knew their little sister yet she'd never talked to the boys. It's almost as though someone had planned their meeting for a later time in her life just so she wouldn't have to suffer in knowing the boys for so long. She honestly would of passed out from exhaustion if she had met them earlier just hearing their crazy stories made her feel faint. However much Effie enjoyed pranks she didn't want to ever experience the punishment that came from them, just thought made her stomach ache.

Anyways, she pushed past a boy who she assumed was a third year and made her way to the compartment that the boys were in. "Effie! How have you been?" Lee asked his voice lower then it had been the last time they had talked, "I had the most amazing summer with my mum we went and visited my great aunt and it turns out she's rich! We did all sorts of hinges and stayed at her estate. It was a blast, except the fact that my great aunt Marci is about as entertaining as a lump of coal and a horrible person. I mean, I swear she'd laugh at others pain, what a monster. Don't even let me get started on Uncle Ra-"

"Woah Lee slow down I lost you at Aunts estate," Effie said jaw dropped shocked at the overwhelming amount of information Lee was giving her in one sitting.

"Oh," Lee said his smile never leaving his face, "basically I had the best summer ever and I didn't see you once! So that proves I can have fun without you!" Lee said thinking back on Effie's statement the previous year that the only fun Lee had was when Effie was part of the fun.

With a sigh and a shake of her head Effie turned to the Weasley twins who were abnormally quiet. "So you two are abnormally quiet. Did all of your pranking finally wear you out?"

The one on the left, who Effie thought was Fred slowly spoke with eyes wide. "How is it that you know Lee?"

Lee swung an arm around Effie's shoulder, "Effie and I have known eachother for ages what are you talking about!?"
