Will and Kenzie became closer throughout the month of September and October as the year was coming closer and closer around the one year anniversary of a horrific experience. But as they became closer as friends Macky would tell you almost instantly Micheal Wheeler is a bitch.
She almost instantly took a liking into Max since Dustin and Lucas both had took a liking into her, Will couldn't care less but Mike on the other hand. Well he was a bitch.
        October came by quickly and Halloween was going to be about soon which caused the party to have a good positive (ish?) Vibe going around. The four core boys were going as the Ghostbusters, Macky on the other hand? She's planning on staying home , she stopped trick or treating in 6th grade when her brother ditched her for his friends, although it wasn't intended he did it 7th grade as well. So Macky was planning on watching some old chick flicks or maybe listen to the Clash, that Will accidently got her into, on her walkman.
       It was finally the morning of October 31st. Macky woke up and tumbled out of bed. Her hair was sticking up in 20 different places and the world around her was blurry as hell. She stood up clumsily off the floor. After 20 minutes trying to get through her messy hair she finally got through it, although it was a absolute  mess since her hair was naturally curly. Up in a pony tail it goes. She changed into her overalls with a light blue long sleeve underneath it as the scars from last year's incident showed. She slipped on her grey shoes, placed her glasses upon her face and soon slung her back pack over her shoulder.
     When Macky made it by the front door she saw Dustin getting his pictures taken with their mothers camera as he was dressed as his favorite ghostbuster. She rolled her eyes and waited for her twin to be done with his photo shoot.
     They soon arrived at school placing there bikes into the bike racks outside of Hawkins middle school. Dustin was still arguing with her about not dressing up and how she absolutely needs to come out trick or treating today with the party. Macky  was lowkey wondering when Mike would show up and highkey wondering if Will is as terrified as she was with the one year anniversary coming. No not the were dating anniversary. The 'I've went to hell and its almost been one year since' anniversary. After a few minutes of Dustin telling Macky she isn't staying home this Halloween he realized, after about five minutes, that the petite girl was not listening at all. Soon the whole party showed up, and the first thing that happens is Lucas arguing with Mike. Typical. Macky rolled her eyes.
"Don't you think I should be Venkman Zee?" Mike asked crossing his arms looking towards her. Lucas turned over her way and raised his eyebrow at the shorter girl. She scoffed.
"Do not bring me into your little pathetic arguments" Macky said with a casual eyeroll. Which caused A small laugh from Will Byers, making Macky feel A little bit better about today. Mike and Lucas continue arguing until Dustin stops them and asks:
"Why isn't anyone else wearing there costumes?"
All of them turn torwards the bus and see no one coming out in costumes. Macky suppressed a laugh from escaping her lips after only six seconds from keeping it in she laughed. Actual pure laughter, which makes Mike kinda forget that hes one of the only people dressed like an absolute dork.
"Macks this is not a laughing matter" Dustin pouted.
"Yea yea yea anyways, school shall we losers?" She said in her soft voice. Micheal adored it. If you ask him though he will say the author was an asshole.
The boys followed the shorter girl into the middle school, feeling like absolute complete dorks.  The day past by quickly, thankfully since the boys received a large handful of bullying especially from Troy amd his goons.
    Lucas and Dustin looked for the Max girl to invite her to the party's trick or treating. Will and Macky were at his locker, it was always quiet if it was just the two but it was comforting for them. Just the presence of one another was enough, they never needed to ask if one was alright, they just knew. Although Macky consistently feels like her issues are never bigger than Wills, causing her to have another reason why she doesn't tell everyone whats going on in her head. Mike was around amd about somewhere none of them knew, they'd catch up to him whenever.

    They soon got onto there bikes and rode home, planning on to meet a few hours later for Halloween.
