Chapter 1

Charlie drove up in-front of her friend's house. 'I'm outside' she texted her. Seconds later the door opened wide and a tall blonde figure stepped out. She was wearing jeans that hugged her curves, a jumper that fell nicely and converse. Her blonde hair was wrapped into a messy bun.

She swinged her bag on her back and her mouth fell when she looked up. "Wow! You got a new car?" she asked.

"Yeah! A Vanquish S Volante with black leather seats! I mean, most of the car is black..." she laughed. Her friend, Emma, got into the car. "Got it for the first day of our Junior year!" she exclaimed. The wind blowed their hair back and soon Emma's house was long gone.

The school was soon in view, buses pulled into view. Once Charlie and Emma were out of the car a boy hopped out of the bus. "Isn't that Peter?" giggled Emma while looking over her shoulder. Charlie turned in the direction in which her friend was looking.

"Shhh, it is! Shut up please!" said Charlie embarrassed, her cheeks turned red as she looked down. Behind Peter was his best fried Ned. Just like Emma, Ned nudged Peter.

"It's the girl you like." he whispered into Peter's ear. Peter immediately looked up and there was Charlie. Her long, brown hair blowing behind her. "Close your mouth Parker!". Yelled Chad.

Chad was the rugby team's captain and he was, of course, dating Charlie.

He jumped out of his car and punched Peter in his shoulder. His friends laughed at the scene. "Good one chad!" One of them yelled while throwing his head back.

"Just leave it Peter." Whispered Ned into his best friend's ear.

"But I'm Spider-Man. I can kick his ass." Protested Peter quietly. Chad ran towards Charlie and held her hand.

Emma, Charlie, Chad and his friend walked into the school but Charlie looked back for one last look at Peter. He stood there, rubbing his shoulder from the punch.

She smiled to herself before turning to face the front. "How was your summer babe?" Asked Chad.

The bell rang and the group headed to Homeroom where they took their seats in the middle of the classroom. The second bell rang as Peter and Ned sat behind Charlie.

Charlie looked up to the clock,  there was 5 minutes left of last period, yet Chad was no were to be seen. She looked up and saw her t teacher sleeping. The colour of the movie reflected across the room. She picked up her bag and snuck out the classroom.

Peter watched her go. Out in the corridor it was empty, no sign of Chad. Charlie continued walking down the main corridor.

At the end to the left Charlie heard some banging of locker. Quickly she ran towards the source of noise. She turned and the corner and stopped at her tracks. It was him. Chad and a cheerleader. And he was sucking her face out.

"What the fuck is going on?!" She yelled. Chad and the cheerleader jumped apart and looked at Charlie.

"Nothing." He said.

"So it's not my boyfriend making out with a cheerleader?!" She yelled.

"Nope. If you believe that...?"  He said quietly. All of a sudden the halls started to fill and the silence was gone. Peter and Ned fell on the scene first. Charlie rushed out crying, rushed to her car and drove away.

By afternoon it was all over their school website. Couple years ago some people created it to post the gossip and news on there. 'Couple goals Charlie and Chad broken up' Read Charlie.

A soft knock filled her ears, immediately she turned her head to the door. Her mom walked in. "Honey, you should get out of your sweat pants. We are going to have dinner soon." She whispered softly and hugged her daughter. But Charlie just turned away. "We are having sushi." She added. Charlie turned and smiled softly.

After her left she went into her shower, while the water poured over head, her phone buzzed on her bed. Her friend, Emma was calling her. Charlie got out of the shower and changed into her sleepwear.

Charlie changed into her clothes and went downstairs with her bag. "Morning honey." Said her mom. Charlie kissed her mom in the cheek, picked up a toast and her car keys and left. The engined roared and Charlie drove towards her friend's house.

Their hair blowed behind them as they pulled up on the school. Chad was in his car with his fiends. "Charlie don't look but behind us is Chad." Said Emma.

Charlie looked back and lifted her middle finger. Chad's friends laughed at him. Confidently she walked up the group with Emma following her and said. "You, you cheating scum bag deserve nothing. I'm really surprised our relationship lasted this long." Chad's stupid face looked at her and she slapped him.

"Damn Charlie!" Yelled one of the guys around Chad. Charlie and Emma were nearly at her car when Chad called something out. "Bitch." He said.

"Ooooooo" said the crowd. Charlie stopped at her tracks and turned around.

"What?" She asked.

"Bitch." Said Chad. Charlie marched towards him but before she could do anything Peter punched him. "Damn!" Said the guys.

Chad turned towards Peter and threw a punch but Peter ducked. Peter dodged all of his punches. Soon they were both on the ground, surrounded by students yelling "fight! Fight!"

"Stop it!" Yelled the principal. The crowd fell silent but they continued fighting. "I said STOP IT!" he yelled even louder. Peter and Chad pulled apart. Blood was dripping from both of their noses. "You two and Charlie follow me!" he told them. "And the rest, go to class! Nothing to see!" Charlie waved goodbye to her friend and waved her goodbye.
