Imagine it a little elder and rustic but in a pretty way if that makes sense.
A month or two passed and has Momo discovered most of the castle. All members who live under the roof has had a chance to meet and talk to the oddly cute creature. Well... almost everyone. There are a few people of the fellowship who migrate or go on very very long trips and visit the palace on rare occasions. One being who met Momo didn't even say anything. The only thing she did was give Momo a nod of acknowledgment.
The peach has also noticed the strange routines the group has like washing their beloved companions every other Thursday when needed, 'companions' meaning equestrians, fairies (don't ask), and other creatures Momo didn't know existed. Another was bonfires. These beings loved building a pit, set wood on fire and dance around the roaring flames and this happened at least once a month, according to Audelia. Momo would join in herself if only her 'dance' wasn't literally just hopping around vigorously and the fear of being eaten whole by the burning wood. Alternatively, she sat at a safe distance where she can still observe the fire but also not burn to a crisp (or I guess to juices cause peaches don't necessarily burn the crisps.... Sorry I'll shut it).
There were probably other routines these interesting and odd beings do that the fruit hasn't caught on yet but hey Momo couldn't really say much. I mean she is a peach that can talk and move....
Switching topics, the peach was currently sitting in the drawing room watching the knight, witch twins, and a woman named Georgina -she too a mage- play pool. Other members were there as well gambling with one another, cause people like to do that apparently teens and grown-ups, but Momo didn't find it as interesting as watching the quartet hit balls with ridiculously long sticks (that sounds...). The princess was present in the room also but didn't join in pool or the gamble. No instead she was sat in a chair near the corner knitting a hat, looking up to see who was winning at the table once a while.
"Say Momo," the peach raised her eyes to the knight. He wasn't wearing his usual rustic armor but instead trousers and a button up shirt. He looked... normal. Momo wasn't sure how she felt about that.
"What other things can you do? You can eat, talk, sleep, hop, even pull out flags. Is there anything else?" he asked in a low concentrating voice as he lined up his cue stick with the white billiard.
She thought about it, looking away from the game to the polished floor. There were probably many things she can do that she doesn't know despite the lack of everything but a head. She was about to answer when she heard the man curse aloud when the billiard missed the other. Audelia looked up and gave the man a pointed look. Tapaidh sniggered moving around the table to take her turn.
"Momo can braid." she started making TK look at her with a raised brow. Momo turned warm but the color didn't show thankfully. She continues hesitantly "Momo can... swim, climb, produce shiny rocks, we-"
"Produce what?" he interrupted. Momo's warmth heated.
"Uh huh. After Momo eats, shiny rocks come out," she explained innocently. "Sooo... you poop out gems?" Momo looked a little offended "Momo doesn't release junk like you beings do. It just happens... especially if me eats plants and bushes."
"Really Momo?" Audelia joined in the conversation "I have never seen you do that." The fruit just nodded and the princess chose not to push further.
"What else were you gonna say?"
"...Momo can't remember." She drooped giving up. Audelia signaled her over. Once she was on her lap, the angel placed the knitted hat on Momo and smiled at her masterpiece.
"Now hold still while I find a flower or bow to go with it."
In case you were curious of what the gems looked like. XD
Apologies for the very long wait. I was finally inspired after several months. And apparently, it was gems. ;3
