Uriah's Initiation (UriTris)

Marlene's P.O.V

Hmmm, why would Uriah care who Tris likes? I mean we have liked each other since grade school! Well he probably just wants a break from Tris so he wants to hook Tris and Al up. Hmmm, they would make a cute couple but not as cute as Uri and me! I giggle at that thought.

I walk into the dorms and see Tris sitting on her bed ( which is next to Uri's ) and Christina in her bed ( which is in the other side of Tris ) I sit next to Tris on her bed. She looks at me and smiles. Tris is very pretty with her long blonde hair and blue/gray eyes and perfect teeth. I smile back "Hey Tris. Can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah."

"Ok, umm. Who do you umm like?" I say a bit nervous. I'm just hoping it's any one besides Uriah.

Tris bites her lip "Al." YAY!

Christina laughs "Liar! We were just talking about that and you said Uriah and you weren't doing anything to prove that you err lying but you were biting your lip when you said Al. So you like Uriah! Why did you lie to Marlene?" I am a mixture of sad/angry. Sad because Tris lied to me and angry because she like MY Uriah!

"Mar, I only lied because I knew you liked Uri. So I was just trying to keep you from getting mad at me or hating me or something." Tris says. I am less sad because she was just trying to not hurt my feelings.

"Thank you, Tris, for trying to not hurt my feelings. The reason why I asked you was because Uriah just wanted to know who you liked. No I don't know why he just asked me to find out."

"Umm ok well, please ask him why he wants to know, and why couldn't he just ask me?"

" Yeah, I'll go right now." and with that I walk out barely hearing their goodbyes.

I walk back down the hall to the chasm where I last saw Uriah. If Uriah says he likes Tris I will kiss him and show him he has feelings for me not Tris. I see him leaning against the railing deep in thought.

"Uriah. I'm back I know who Tris likes." he looks at me.

"Who?" he asks.

"Tell me why you want to know then I'll tell you."

He sighs. "I like Tris--" I cut him off with a kiss like planned. But instead of him kissing back he pushes me off him. "Did you not just hear me say I like Tris?!" then he walks off towards the dorms. Crap plan failed. Need a new plan. ASAP!!
