Uriah's Initiation (UriTris)

Chapter 25

Tris's P.O.V

It's been four days since Peter tried and kind of succeeded on kissing me, and Uriah hasn't talked to me since that day. I really hope he didn't see.

"Tris. Tris. Are you ok?" Will asks.

"No," I sigh. "Uriah isn't talking to me. And did Chris tell you what Peter did?"

"Yes, she did tell me. Do you want me to ask Uriah what's wrong with him?" He asks looking upset.

I just nod.

"Ok, get dressed and I will ask Uriah why he isn't talking to you. Christina just left to get the tree of us muffins so you better hurry or Christina will eat your muffin." He says and walks out of the dorm.

I grab my clothes (The ones in the picture above.) When I come out Marlene, Lynn and Christina are sitting on my bed and Christina's bed whispering to each other. It made me feel awkward so I sat down next to Chris on her bed. "Hi." I say plainly.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Mar asks.

"How do you think?"

"Ok," She says stretching out the 'ok' "let's eat and get to training."

I just nodded and took a huge bite of my muffin.

As they talked about what they want to be if they pass initiation, I start realizing something, maybe Marlene had Peter do that so Uriah will break up with me and go to her for comforting since after all, she is his child hood best friend. But Peter isn't the kind of guy to do that without a reason, she must've threatened him, or offered to buy him stuff off of her initiates card.

I start choking on my orange juice and Christina looked worried. I stopped choking after a minute and looked at Marlene's face, her face showed worry, her eyes showed humor. I quickly grabbed Christina's hand and pulled her out of the dorm making her drop her muffin and cry.

"What the hell Tris!" She says angrily.

"Marlene planned it." I say with tears in my eyes, making me blush.

"Wait, why would Marlene do-" She understood why when I gave her the 'seriously' face.

"She must've said something to Peter to make him do that. I mean, I don't even talk to him, neither does Uriah so he has no reason to do that." I tell her.

"Right, peter is a bad guy, but he only does revenge, or if someone gets in his way he'll do anything to stop the person that's in his way." Chris say, putting on her thinking face.

"Hey! Remember when I proved to him that I wasn't meant for Abnegation by flashing him, and jumping first." I tell her, the wheels in my brain starting to turn.

"Right.....where are you going with this?" She says slowly.

I give her the 'seriously' face again and she raises an eyebrow. "I really don't know where you're going with this."

"Ok," I say. "so Peter has always been the kind of guy to need to be in first place to feel like he did a good job right?" I say. She nods. "Me being from Abnegation, and flashing him and jumping first makes him feel like there's competition. So, Marlene must've told him that if he kisses me and Uriah sees he will break up with me and I will become depressed and do bad in initiation, you get it now?"

"Why didn't you chose Erudite?" She asks me.

I just shrug and say,"Because they're stupid."

"But they're Erudite." She shoots back.

"Ok, I just don't like them. I mean, my brother joined them, but I couldn't." It wasn't a lie, I promised myself at a young age that I would never join them. Always hear bad things about them has effects.

"Well anyways, let's go. We have to get going so we don't get kicked out." She says starting to run to the simulation room. "C'mon slow poke." She says in a challenging way. I chuckle and speed past her and make it there before her.

"Geez, you were made for Dauntless." She says when she enters the room.

"Yup." I say getting sad again.

"Why sad now?" she says getting worried.

"Uriah won't leave my mind. We need a plan." I say.

"A plan for what, getting me back?" I hear from behind me. I look back and see Uriah. "No matter what, I'm not taking you back. You cheated."

My eyes watered up. "No I didn't. I was trying to sleep and Peter came and kissed me. I kissed back until I realized it wasn't you. I screamed but he kissed me again." Tears are flowing down my face.

"Whatever. I can't believe you." He says. He is crying to but is covering them up.

"Yes you can." Chris says.

"And how is that?"He asks upset now that we won't leave him alone.

"Because this is important to her and when she lies about important things her voice cracks and she bites her cheek at the end. You know I'm from Candor, you could have just asked me to question her." She says like it's obvious.

"Wow, I totally forgot you were from Candor." He said, smacking the palm of his hand to his forehead. "That would have this whole thing a lot easier."

"So-"I was interpted by everyone walking in and Four starting to talk.

"Ok, everyone! Today is our last day doing just one fear. In just four days we will start working on doing our fear landscaps." He informs us.

"Whats a fear land scape?"Molly asks.

"A fear landscape is where you your fear in just  one simulation shot.?"He rplies. Molly just nods.

"Anyways...Tris is up first since she's in the lead." He says looking at me. I just groan and get up.

Well, hesres my last time to practice before i see all my fears at once.
