The New Girl? (Chapter 10)

Alex's P.O.V.
Now that I have a job... I think I that we would celebrate with come ice cream.

"I think that we should get some ice cream!"

"That's a good idea Alex! Now that I think about it... there's an ice cream roll shop like five minutes away."

"What... is that?"

"It's really cool when you see what they do." We walked to the car, the keys in my hand and got in.

We drove for a little and  parked in the parking lot of Sweet Savannah's (heh that's a funny pun kiddo... SHUT IT SANS!).

We walked into the store and I smelled chocolate ice cream. We walked up to the counter to get ready to order. I was astounded by all the flavors and add-ons they had as well.

"Hello! Welcome to Sweet Savannah's! What may I get for you?" The girl at the counter said.

"I'll have mint creme with chocolate chunks please. What do you want Alex?"

"I'll have... chocolate with thin mints please."

"Those orders will be right out!" We walked over to where the ice cream was rolled and I watched in awe.

This is the best invention ever!

"Wow Alex... you must be excited for the ice cream."

"Yeah I am!"

Ben's P.O.V.

Alex is really excited for the ice cream as she watched in awe when they rolled it.

"Come Alex! Let's sit at a table and wait for our ice cream."

"Okay..."

We walked over to a table next to a window. "So... Alex... What happened in the interview room?"

"Nothing really. He just asked me a bunch of questions about how qualified I am for the job and some other stuff." She looked out the window. "Who's that in the window?"

I turned my head and didn't see anything."What are you talking about? I don't see anything there."

"It disappeared when you looked over at it." I looked at the light blue walls with gold trim till the lady said, "Guys! Your ice cream rolls are ready!"

"Thank you!" We walked to the counter and grabbed the cups of ice cream and sat down at the same table. We ate it quickly and paid at the front.

"Have a sweet day!"

"Oh... What's your name by the way?"

"Oh! It's Skye!"

"Well... it's nice to meet you Skye!"

"Thank you." Alex waved bye and we got into the car.
