Edward starts out homophobic because his parents are but after he comes home for a visit and hurts Sebastian. Luciana arrived a few minutes later and saw what he was doing to her Bas but Mitch was with her and punched him while she gave him a piece of her mind.
After their confrontation Edward won't leave her alone and is slowly falling for her and he makes friends with Sebastian and stands up to their parents. He also talks about having a crush on his friend. He buys a house between Dalton and Westerville and takes his siblings in paying for their school at least until Mitch buys his own house and gets his boyfriend (Sebastian) to move in with him. After Luciana learns about their reunion she starts willingly spending time with him she didn't have much choice before since he always cornered her when he would find her alone.
