Note (for Judges): You are required to read THREE chapters of each book assigned to you but feel free to read on if you want to get a better look on whose book deserves to win. Then you choose your top 1 (the book with the highest score). Since this is poetry, you CAN'T use the criteria I've given in the first part of this book. Instead, you are to score according to this:
title [5 points] - how unique and mellifluous is the title?
cover [5 points] - does it have an appropriate, eye-pleasing cover that matches the theme of the story?
descriptions/metaphors [10 points] - did the author do a good job at showing not telling? did you have a hard time comprehending what the author is trying to say?
flow [10 points] - did the poem jump from one topic to another or was it consistent? Does it all go together?
completeness of thought / emotions [10 points] - did the author do a good job of explaining the topic and his/her views etc.?
aesthetics [5 points] - are there graphics on the book to match the mood?
