Selfish Machines

Chapter Two

I was running around my house getting everything ready. I had ordered pizza and I made cupcakes. My best friends/roommates came out and saw me running around in my sleepwear. "Hey whatcha doing?" "Getting everything ready for Pierce The Veil." "Okay." They both walked away slowly. Their names were Karla and Raven. I've been friends with them since high school.

After the house was clean, I jumped in the shower and got dressed. I put on a black and white lace dress. It happened to show all my tattoos, which was nice. I was just finishing my hair when I heard a knock on the door. I ran downstairs only to see Raven at the door. uh oh.

"Hi. I''m Raven. Christine's roommate." I ran as fast as I could to them. Raven was a big fan of them and I couldn't let her go all fangirl on the poor boys. "I love you guys and I'm going to marry Jaime." "Oh God no. Raven move!" She slowly walked away from the door. I looked at them all. Jaime looked scared and all the other boys looked... amused. "Sorry about her. She's a little... different. Not in a good way." I invited them in and walked them outside the the backyard. Our backyard was nice. It had a pool., swing set (Even though we were all to old for it we still went on it) and a garden. We sat down on some chairs next to the pool.

"Did you bring your swimming trunks like I told Tony to tell you to?" "Yep." "We can have a small pool party if you guys want." I guess i got my answer when they all ripped off their pants and jumped into the pool. Okay then.

I went into the house to bring out some drinks and pizza. "So you're friends with Pierce The Veil aka my lifeline, yet you never tell me?" "I never knew he was in Pierce The Veil. I'm only friends with Tony. Their over her so they can decided if they like me. If they do I'm going to go on tour with them so I can do their tattoos on the road." "WHAT!" Raven screamed. "Yes Raven. I am probably going to be touring with PTV." Her mouth hung low as Karla walked in. "What's Raven screaming about now? Another band in town?" "More like, another band in our pool outside." "What band?" She said as she sipped her lemonade. "Pierce The Veil." I shouldn't have said it. She spit her lemonade out in shock. "Pierce The Veil? As in the sexiest sexicans on planet Earth?" "You think that of us? We're so flattered." I turned and saw Vic flipping his hair and smiling. The others were smiling too. "Oh my. They are in my presence." They saw Raven and Karla fangirling so they all came up and pulled them into a group hug. I smiled and snapped a picture.

When they pulled apart Mike looked at me. "So, you going with us on tour?" I smiled. "Sure. I would love to." Jaime and Vic turned to Raven and Karla "You girls coming too?" "We have work. We can't." "Where do you work?" "We own R & K photography." "Well let someone else take over for a while and be out photographer for the tour." They looked at each other and nodded. "Sure." They said together. "Yes! Three pretty girls going on tour with us! This is amazing!" We all laughed. Then Vic's phone rang. He walked out to the back to answer it.

He came back in after a few minutes. "Well, we better get packing. They want us to be prepared so we leave tomorrow. 9 am. It's already 8pm so we'll leave so you girls can pack." "What? We don't want to leave!" Jaime, Tony, and Mike all said. "Well, how about you guys go get your things and come back over here and we'll have a sleepover. The bus can pick us up from here in the morning." Karla suggested. "Good idea." Jaime complimented. "Let's hurry up and get our things." Mike added. "Yeah." They all agreed. They ran out and went to get their things from their houses. Karla, Raven, and I made a HUGE fort and set blankets and pillows down. It will be big enough for us all. We'll sleep here tonight with the boys.

After about half a hour, the doorbell rang. I jumped up and answered it. "Hey boys!" "Hi Christine. Love they Harry Potter onesies." Mike yelled. Yay! another Potterhead! I grabbed him and we walked into the living room towards the fort talking about HP. Once the boys saw the fort the looked amazed. "Whoa. This is the biggest fort we've ever seen." We laughed. "Well boys, let's get this slumber party started!" "YEAH!" Everyone yelled. This is going to be good.
