When we talk about people.
We dare to posit our assumptions,
We dare to fit them inside the boxes as big as our mouths
We call this truth.
We dare to preach their message for them.
Like lips and eyes have some sort of secret communication
And we are privy to it all.
When we talk about people.
We take the place of God.
Our thoughts are above theirs,
Our words,  true story slayers.
We conquer whole lives in minutes.
Become judge, jury and executioner.
Sometimes we just say hello.
When we talk about people.
We tattle our deepest secrets and shames,
Call it gossip.
We chain ourselves to their opinion
Laugh like we beat them
We are volatile.
We are broken.
We are people.
Who always seem to know about people.
And nothing about ourselves.
