Is Love Enough?

Chapter 3

Shane's POV

how can I make Rylee see that she is the only one that I truly love. I mean it might be a little weird that she's never heard of Jordan until now but she doesn't know much about where I grew up before we met. I've never liked talking about it.

I couldn't stand the thought of her being upset. it breaks my heart. I love her so dearly and I want to be with her for the rest of my life. there is no way I would fuck that up. I understand why she has doubt's though. her parents had like the worst marriage ever. but I want to show her that I'm not like that. I need to to know that she's the only one for me.

I need to tell her.

Rylee's POV

I need to just ask her what's up. I know she won't lie to me. hopefully. maybe that girl is just her old neighbor. I don't know.

Shane walks in the door of our apartment and that's when I ask her.

"are you cheating on me?"

"Ry, I love you. you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. I promise, I would never do anything that would hurt you."

"I love you too Shane. I guess I just got a little paranoid. oh and the answer it yes."

"do you mean it, really??"

"yes. I love you and I don't know what took me so long to say it. you're the only person I want to be with for the rest of my life."

and that's true. Shane and I met in 7th grade and we've been together ever since. she was a player and everything but she was my first everything. and I want her to be my last. she's the only one I've ever wanted. and the only one I'll ever need.

Shane's POV

I'm so glad she said yes. Rylee is the best thing that's every happened to me and now I get to spend the rest of my life with the love of my life. she makes me so happy and I just love her so much. I'm glad that we have the type of relationship where we can just talk everything out and just be honest with each other. I love her so so so much and I don't know what I would have done if she left me.

I've always known that she was to good for me but to know that she has stayed with me even though she could do so much better, makes me want to never ever fuck up our relationship.

Rylee is my queen and she deserves to be treated like one.
