The battle between love and the sorting hat

Chapter 2

So now here I am on my own at the train station because my dad had better things to do. I keep trying to look but there is no 9 3/4 then I see a girl with the same kind of luggage so Im gonna try to stop her. "Hey um can you tell me where 9 3/4 is?" She is this average height girl with long dark hair "um yes follow me. Are you a first year?" I look back with a smirk "yeah I am. Are you a second year?". "Ha no I'm a first year my sister was a seventh year last year" I fell dumb and kinda embarrassed and I guess she caught on. She reaches her hand out " My name is Alex Carder" I extend my hand "Hey I'm Savanna Mcnabb" her jaw drops " Like McNabb? McNabb?" I sigh and look at my watch "hey we are gonna be late if we don't leave now" she looks at the time and then quickly looks at me "hurry up and follow me" and takes off towards the wall. I quickly noticed that she was almost gonna hit that wall straight on and yelled "hey watch ou...." Only to be amazed that she went straight through it. I guess its my turn. I have started to run and now I'm through. I look and see the beautiful huge train. I hear Alex calling my name to get on the train. I leave my stuff were we are suppose to including Vlad. I give him a little wave goodbye. As I board the train I still can't believe this is real. Alex and I find a empty place to sit. "So have you thought of what house you want to be put in?" I say with a smirk. She looks back "um well I was hoping I would get into Ravenclaw. What about you?" I begin to smile " I want to be in Slytherin" I say with a proud tone.

We finally get on the boats an I look up and Hogwarts is just as beautiful as I imagined. We make our way off of the boats and walk into the great doors and walk our way into the main hall. I look at Alex "We are actually here!!!" I say quietly we walk all the way up to the front where all the professors sat and head master Albus Dumbledore. In front of the table was Professor McGonagall and the famous sorting hat.

After what it seemed to be forever it was my turn for the sorting hat. Alex has already went up and to no surprise she got ravenclaw.

"McNabb, Savanna" Proffesor McGonagall said out loud
